Norton blocks file lwjgl.dll Threat Name: Suspicious.Cloud

Hi, not sure what to make of this exactly and if it is supposed to even happen. Admin please look into this and let people know why this happens.

File Insight: Suspicious.Cloud is a detection technology designed to detect entirely new malware threats without traditional signatures. This technology is aimed at detecting malicious software that has been intentionally mutated or morphed by attackers.

It's your anti-virus company trying to employ scare tactics on you. If you read the description it says a file got mutated (scary word for updated) and that no signature was found (fancy way to say they found nothing and are just trying to scare you).

Updater used update. Har

Stop getting randomly scared by your AV company and learn what these messages mean.

Greetings,

The alert is a false positive, we aren't distributing malicious files with Spiral Knights. The lwjgl.dll is a critical component that is required for Spiral Knights to run.

There will be an update shorty to resolve the problem. In the short term you can set your antivirus program to ignore or exclude the file. For most Steam users it will be located in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Spiral Knights\native folder.

What about me?

What about the people who downloaded the client from the website itself? How do we launch SK?
