Sleep Status is more likely to come back than the Old UI, health sharing, and mineral depositing.
Why else would we still have 5* sleep trinkets and Royal Jelly mail series?

The urgency of removing
The urgency of removing currently useless content would probably better equate to the achievements that were removed. If they really wanted to remove them permanently they would have done so when they removed sleep the very first time.
I think even some of the staff are just waiting for the right moment before they drive the nail into the coffin.

Is this a serious question?
They're still in-game because it's either meant to be that way, and no substitutions are going to be accepted, or because Three Rings is just too lazy to change it. But why would they need to when Justifier is a straight upgrade to Royal Jelly, and Skolver knocks it out of the park for swordies? People just make those instead anyway. (Also the trinkets have just always been there, you're not being forced to buy them).
I'll just remind you of some other things that need to be attended to:
This isn't all, but these are all that I could think of off the top of my head that aren't completely biased in some way (except Acheron, but come on...).
