So I noticed that the icons for battle sprites were uploaded with inconsistent (regarding the wiki in general) file names - most "icons" around the wiki have "icon" in the file name to make tables easier to manage and more consistent.
I've gone through and fixed what I can, but several users have the bad filenames on their User pages - I've sent them all notes on their discussion pages, as I don't want to edit their user pages. Feels like I'm invading or something. In my experience, a wiki admin won't delete a page/file if things link to it, so...just gonna let those users edit their pages if they want. There's tons of "junk" images out there, so there's no harm if the bad file names don't get deleted - it's just harmful if other icons are uploaded like this, and we get a schism with naming and templates explode and the world ends oh no. I noticed inconsistencies when making the Alchemy Machine template...it can be dealt with, but it's annoying!
In addition to this renaming, I noticed that nobody had uploaded the icons for T1 or T2 versions of battle sprites (couldn't find any in the Category: Battle Sprite Images or Category: Icon Images), so I went ahead and uploaded those - they're on my user page and my sandbox.
This should make things more consistent and easier, before they get too ingrained and out of hand. I tried my best to name them like other icons, so they might not be perfect, but at least they're all consistent and have "icon" in their names for tables in the future.
That gun puppy drakon. So cute.
In my opinion, you should go ahead and edit the user pages that use the icons. The players will thank you for maintaining their status quo.
On the other hand, if there are hundreds of them, then it may not be worth your time. Some fraction of the players don't even play anymore.
