Holy-Nightmare

Basically the other half of the Chaos Cloak set.

Instead of CTR/DMG this set would give the Very High boost to ASI and MSI.

It would suffer from the same status penalties as Chaos but would have pierce resistance instead of elemental.

The helm would have the appearance of a lime green jelly helm and would appear to have clockwork gears slowly moving in the goop. (there would the a gear in the shape of a Mohawk sticking out the top.
The Armor would also have lime green jelly with gears behind the goo, one arm would not have the typical jelly coat but would just have the gears (moving at a higher speed)(like the warden armor). The armor would also have a dark green mantle (like the one the Ice Queen set has without the neck frill) this would be edged in prismatic roman numerals (like those on clocks).

All the gears would be silver in color.

This armor set would be a branch of the Mercurial mail set, but would be available in the HOH.

gods ain't gonna help you, son.

MSI is very, very rare, and nobody wants mercurial to be even less used.
though, the same thing could have said about mad bomber and chaos...
why making it branch from mercurial? mercurial is basil only, so it wouldn't make a slick of sense. make it a standalone line.

Hmm...

Make it branch from the jelly line. Magic branches off in three directions, and this could help jelly do the same.

However it feels sorta meh. This is the same level of OP that Chaos is. If we want to make Chaos more balanced with status vulnerabilities and lower defense, that would be fine with me, especially with this line following the same suit.

In theory, it's neat, but the boosts would make it some of the most used gear in the game.
Which I'm not complaining about, but it feels wrong.

If it's gonna break off the Jelly line, I think it deserves a more jelly-centric name. Maybe somethin' like a Chronoil set?

Jelly would be good, I just wanted it to have some sort of tie in with speed and metal; and Merc mail seemed like a good choice.

I like it. More glass cannon armor would be awesome by me, and this would be a wonderful chance for SEGA to increase mercurial/mercurial demo set's MSI to med from 'low', Maybe also to give mad bomber MSI med... MSI doesn't need to be a "rare and limited perk"; very few people with access to it use it as their main setup.

And I think it should branch from quicksilver. There is not much reason to get that or make it your first real armor, but there could be a reason.

It's more like a Fragile speedster than a glass cannon....

Yes, I do think more sets should have MSI, boost Merc sets and hand out some speed to Mad Bombers too.

As for the craft up set it would be ok coming from either line, but if it come from the Merc set it should be a Basil only recipe.

ASI Boost? We already have an

ASI Boost?

We already have an ASI set, Crown and Armor of the Fallen.
Buff that to +2 Sword/Gun ASI per part, remove the superfluous Bomb ASI.

You make a good point actually

Think about it... Chaos was buffed from two lows to two mediums because of BKC.
So if we buffed the Fallen set and maybe mercurial to medium per piece in the event that this set does become a thing...
