Gremlins are really sloppy. Some assembly worker accidentally packaged a copy of Kozma's order list with one of the new boxes. You'd think they would be more careful with confidential documents, but I guess, that's Gremlins for you.
And a new Lockbox just flashed by on the Prizewheel: Platinum!
@Petater
I have been so waiting to post this link :-D.
(in a few minutes you'll say it's so absurdly simple).
So, where are you getting these numbers? You're stating these numbers as solid, as if you proved OOO did not copy and paste the stats from older boxes and just moved over the new items.
Spy is making them up, just as they made up the last ones. In fact if you checked the history of spy's blog posts, the scanner spy originally posted that it was in silver boxes (as common, I might add). I wonder if me making this comment will make spy change that post.
@Petater
It's elementary, my dear Watson!
OOO is a business and as a business they they try to make the most profit out of the least effort. Part of minimizing effort is reusing as much previously done work as possible. This includes things like market research and methods. If you pay attention to the promos, you'll notice that box items are always grouped. You'll also realize that the odds stick to the groups and that makes them a reusable asset.
OOO doesn't spend hours of developer time on coming up with unique probabilities for every box. The odds for the platinum boxes are the same as for the steel boxes, as for the silver boxes, as for... (you get the idea).
So yes, I cheated, I didn't open hundreds of boxes, I didn't have to, I only had to copy&paste my old blog posts and adjust a bit.
(now, wasn't that absurdly simple :-P?)
@Skepticraven
If I knew what you were talking about and if my blog post was demonstratably wrong, I would naturally correct it.
"...if my blog post was demonstratably wrong..."
Oh the irony of that statement. Your posts haven't even been demonstratively correct.
Please add a statement to the blog saying if stats from older boxes are presumed.
Thanks for the new list - unboxed a sensor myself, they look... odd. The "bomb bundle" that you have listed is actually just bomb bandolier (you can even check through the files and see for yourself), so only 2 new items seem to be in this batch :/
Again with the numbers. I'm with the others on this. If you're going to make up statistics and post them, you should at least be able to verify where they came from without posting sassy remarks. If you can't do so here due to the ways in which you actually DID "collect data", you're free to shoot me a mail in game, and I'll be more than glad to support you with a "By god she's a genius!" every time you come on here and post one of these, which now seems to be a monthly advent.
@Noxiousnarwhal
Ah, thanks. got the names mixed up -> *FIXED*
@Fehzor
If you supported me, you'd inevitably have the others at your throat. I wouldn't want to make you subject to that. Plus: we'll only have to go through this two more times anyways. By then OOO will run out of alloys.
Thanks as always spiral spy. So this sensor unit is actually a new accessory and not a vented visor or whatever has been wrongly listed by OOO on new promos for forever?
Also, can you quantify how many colors of Devious horns there are?
@Asthix
The sensor is new. The horns should be available in the usual colors: blue, gold, green, heavy, pink, purple, red, divine, volcanic and probably prismatic (the armor_primary class is used for coloring. Check here for reference).
Hate to go off topic, but I have no other way of pointing this out: "Developers are lazy as well..."
What about Steam? Steam has makes use of this feature, so it needs a way to log you in automatically. I mean, sure you could have a separate version just for Steam, but that would be a bit cumbersome unless you write automation scripts.
While they could do this, it is probably not a top priority, especially when other players can make good use of it. Thanks! ^.^
@Autofire
Steam uses auth cookies. The mechanismn is different:

Where are you getting these numbers, eh? We know it's not humanely possible without cheating to have empirically opened enough boxes to have come to these stats. Even if you know how to force SK to drop the new box, we all know you still wouldn't have had enough time to have come to your presented conclusion. :p
