Hey, I have an idea.

Let's all pitch in and make a gate slime strata all the way across.
Get Yellow and Green, avoid Red Minerals!

Target:
Coral Queen Gate! NOW OPEN!

Jelly King will be out of commission for a little bit, so let's celebrate its return with jellies all the way around!
T1- ujelly
T2- ujelly
T3- ujelly

everybody jelly.

Mission Status: FINISHED!
Depth 1-3: Fiend
Depth 5-7: Jelly
Depth 9-12: Poison
Depth 14-17: Jelly
Depth 19-22: Gremlin
Depth 24-28: Jelly

Valestone (green) negates Construct and Shock gates.
Luminite (yellow) negates Fiend and Poison gates.
Crimsonite IS BAD.

The stratum update came in the middle of this, but we still made a jelly stratum in each tier :D

And now, 75% of the playing population will be in the Jelly King gate.
all the other gates be jelly.

The old Alloy system was invented specifically to make it stop happening.

So now we have the opposite problem with Shock...

I was tempted to aim for the

I was tempted to aim for the gate after Jelly King, but

1) more strata, more work
2) it's easier to make people excited when it's the JK gate.

But how cool would it be to have a non-JK/Vanaduke gate that actually has > 150 players in it? lol

Meh, for a second I thought it was an idea to make a whole gate made of pre-jelly king levels (garden and red carpet) - this way lots of people would actually play more than two levels at a time.

I hope this one is actually successful, unlike the last one that went shock theme before settling into some sortof weird fiend thing.

Also, right now it looks like the gate is more in need of yellow than green at the moment, it's rather poison themed right now.

Poison/shock/poison/[slime]/shock/poison, as of this point.

Pretty good start!
The poisons mean that people have been donating lots of greens to the existing shock gate (negated!) and we just need to balance out the scales by adding yellows :P

I admire the momentum this movement is massing, but may I mention morons managing their minerals via autosell might merit a modicum of concern? This is a matter most momentous, to which I recommend my method. Meet me at Saturday, ten post meridian, mere minutes before the gate commits. Move all your minerals, and make this magnificent marvel materialize!

I do agree with you fully. A full slime gate would be amazing and very very fun. Aurora isles i'd love to see more and some tier 3 jelly levels would be great so i'll be contributing into this.

Less rewarding

I have no idea why you all want slime stratums. Jelly farms may give a lot of raw crowns, but you should realize that the majority of income comes from selling mats. At least it is for me, more than 85% of my crowns comes from selling random stuff in the AH, even after the -10% sale fee.
Jelly mats dont sell for anything, theres too much of it already from all the royal jelly runs. Besides, you might not even get jelly farms to spawn. And only jelly farms in the 2nd half of the stratum is worth doing anyway. The only jelly stratum worth doing is Royal Jelly.

Finding a single heavy gear is already roughly 20-25% of what you get from raw crowns, running royal jelly. A ghost bell is almost half. Thats just T2 stuff. In T3, finding a sun silver or philoso feather is like finding (almost) 200 EN.

You might say these mats are rare and hard to come by, but of course they are rare if all your running is royal jelly. Theres like, ~6 limbers, ~12 puppies, and a couple of butterflies. Everything else is slimes.

I guess the one good thing about a slime stratum is the chance to spawn Scarlet Fort - Cravat Hall levels. But everything else besides arenas/jelly farm is pretty bad.

Clarification of my ealier post

In case you didn't get the V for Vendetta joke (or the Fate/Stay Night one), here's my previous post in plain prose:

Meet up about 10-20 min before the gate launches, and dump your yellows and greens to make slime strata. If you can't make it, then any time up to 12 hrs is fine too; the later you wait the better, cause then autosellers don't have as much time to mess up the gate construction.

Some notes- it will take about 2-3k each of yellow and green to ensure a single jelly strata. I have somewhere close to 500 of each, so I sure as hell can't do it alone. Also, in the event that we cannot get enough momentum to make a slime gate, would there be interest in making specific slime strata? Like, deposit to strata 6, 5, and 3 in that order?

Anyway, I'm all for Unlimited Slime Works if only for the fun. And it might be really interesting in conjunction with the upcoming update. =)

If you don't like jelly strata because they aren't profitable enough, you can always visit one of the other gates instead. And if you're thinking, "But the jelly palace is one of the most profitable areas," how much of that profit comes from stratum 3, hm?

The gate that cycled out a few days ago had the Aurora Isles (jelly farms and whatnot) just before the terminal and I always got up to 5k crowns getting to the terminal. They were in the 1st half. I still profited. THEN THEY RAISED THE CE PRICE FFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

I'm dumping all my Luminite and Valestone into the gate. I think others are too because what was a gate of shocks and fiends have turned into a gate of poisons.

By the way, the fastest way to get minerals is to run in groups. 5 people will collect minerals faster then 1 person will.
