I tried figuring out what it does, but it doesn't appear to change any functionality in terms of mouse input, which is what my guess was. What might the rest of you think?

I assume so. I suppose we might need the actual controller to really find out. Perhaps OOO themselves could shed some light on it, if we're lucky enough to get a reply.

Why are you concerned with this when there are a lot of USB controllers already including the Microsoft xbox one?

Because OOO added undocumented functionality and if they don't tell us what their patches include, then we should try to find out ourselves.
Does it have anything to do with this thing?
