(Spoiler Alert) The New Miniboss Fight, What Do You Think of It?

Was he maybe a little bit too easy even as a miniboss? This was on elite difficulty and he was still pretty easy to take out:

I just came on the forum to read the patch notes and I see THIS THREAD!!! Please graveyard the thread before anyone else sees the spoiler and maybe repost this in a few days!!!
Thank you.

Not. Happy. In future please don't put your title header as an obvious spoiler. Some forum goers (such as myself) haven't been able to play yet and might not want to know what happens until they do.
In all seriousness, I watched the video since there is no point whining over spoilers now, and I must admit that looked really easy. *applauds Pawsmack for keeping his e-rev* It looks like when he stealth's his AI places him directly behind you, which makes sense, but also makes him predictable. The only party of that I would say is hard is when it spawned all those bots and gremlins at the last stage, as for Herex himself, he does say he will fight you again, so...

Point taken. I changed the title header to something a bit less revealing.

Still not changed...
Perhaps put (Spoiler alert) in the title, and delete "new minboss"?

I had previously removed the "With Herex" part of the title. It's already pretty vague, but I'll add in a (Spoiler Alert) part to the title as well I suppose.

Too easy to flinch him. Nothing like the final boss of OCH. You can wail on him too but at least you have to dodge a little.
The swarm arena was far more challenging.

I agree, Herex was a tad easy. If you would like to watch our first run we go over first impressions and such in the video.

I enjoyed the new missions though. It will be interesting to see where its all going. :P

I was in a party with 3 blitz needles, so we could keep him knocked down the whole battle.
The hardest part was the third wave of enemies.

hexex is less threathening than the waves of mooks he trhows at you. the times I fought him, here's how they went:
I see the recon mark.
I activate chaotic haze.
herex is hazed.
the party proceeds to beat him to a corner till he decides that his lower back hurts too much.
Well, at least we get a new boss to fight in the new mission update. Better that than nothing, right?
The third mook wave is just a bit too large, and oh how I hate Mortarfires.
Herex could stand to be a bit tougher, and the mooks tuned down a bit.
Not that it will affect me at all; I have no intention of ever running that mission again. The mini-Arena that is half shadowfire on the first level, and the endless corridor of wheels, spikes, firepits and lost souls on the second level are annoying beyond all comprehension.

Iron Slug = instant knockback into a corner.
everyone with swords = Herex can never leave.
The Arsenal Podcast Crew pushed him into a corner and beat him up, his children and wife, and stole his money.
And out of the entire thing for whatever reason I brought a Gran Faust and Grey Owlite set to a shadow-themed level so there's that.
