So I've been wondering, are there any really evil knights? Not corrupted like the Trojans, but knights, in knight-form, who have evil intentions?
Evil Knights
There was this one time a knight dressed like a pony tried to kill me in GitM so there's that.
"All in all, there are no evil knights in the canon lore, so yeah, maybe we will get one in the future."
What about that guy who abandoned his unit and then tried to kill you when you tried to bring him back to HQ?
@Khamsin I could argue that he went insane, not inherantly evil. His unit died.

Sure. You're not generally going to see Knights with the intent on killing their own fellow knights who are sane-minded simply because it is a military expedition and presumably people had been vetted prior.
It has been argued in several threads over the years that the Spiral Order is basically an evil invader of Cradle. For example, we slaughter everything in the Gloaming Wildwoods and Royal Jelly Palace for no apparent reason. We earn money by destroying all of the bushes and library books.
Most "evil" in the world is not really pure evil but rather calculated greed. Very few people hurt other people just for the fun of it. But there are some trolls in the game and in the forums who would qualify as evil by this criterion.
"...Lt. Barrus who sexually assaulted a female Gremlin sniper after capturing her."
Where exactly was this ever mentioned?
Where exactly was this ever mentioned?
It wasn't. Midnight-Dj seems to have a rather strange admiration for making their own thoughts canon.
So basically, a space knight who may or not actually be a robot molesting a captured sapient weasel.
Well, we've already got the Sega affiliation, so I guess we may as well have some bad fanfiction involving vaguely
humanoid creatures doing hanky-panky stuff.
There are no currently "evil" aligned knights, hiss. All non insane, non-transformed knights work for the common good of other knights, hiss.
There is room for lore expansion on this, but seeing as how knights generally receive ration and supply from the surface and have very little reason to be on the rock known as cradle at the moment, there is no benefit in revealing drive or motive that would be contrary to the general interest of the current knights.
No, what MDJ was saying was that
in fanon, Lt. Barrus sexually assaulted a female Gremlin sniper after capturing her. Not in canon.
so I guess we may as well have some bad fanfiction involving vaguely
humanoid creatures doing hanky-panky stuff.
Oh we have more than just bad fanfiction.

Although I don't understand the obsession with gremlins when we have perfectly good slimes & tailed helm knights.
in fanon, Lt. Barrus sexually assaulted a female Gremlin sniper after capturing her. Not in canon
You don't say.
Oh we have more than just bad fanfiction.
flashbacks...
yeah we do have more than proto-y fanfiction, we have the [Redacted]! * Zalgo flashes back to the terrible memories of google images....*
Well, in case you didn't notice, SK has a story line which I would call 'Noble bright', it is the opposite of GRIM DARK . In a noble bright story line, a bad guy is a bad guy ( grumpy Gremlins who are always up to not good, maybe except Nona ) and a good guy is a good guy.
The only reasonably bad knight I could think of is quarter master Kozma, that woman is evil, she sells over priced gears for ridiculous amount of energy and she never got anything good for sale except when she got a flash sale.
In the fan fiction sector, captain Ozlo is from time to time the target of writers who wants an evil, manipulative leader for the Spiral Order, making it seemingly nice on the outside but corrupted on the inside. I think I am the first person to write him as a bad dude (citation needed) but meh, he is still not as bad as Lt. Barrus who sexually assaulted a female Gremlin sniper after capturing her. Is that Grim Dark enough for you?
All in all, there are no evil knights in the canon lore, so yeah, maybe we will get one in the future.
