So just curious. Are valestone and moonstone still useless without hope of having a use soon or anything? We keep finding so many giant green and blue crystals and don't want to take them simply because even getting just 1 of our sprite's mineral food is more worth it to us right now.
Valestone and Moonstone, still useless?
Ikr, Fluffy? I was so mad when that update came up! I was no longer able to get crowns anymore!
I stopped playing for a long time, and never even hit defender elite before i stopped playing. Back then the crystals were all useful for trying to attempt to change how the arcade levels were built and you get get crowns for minerals. Now, minerals are only really useful for feeding your sprites, but only 3 kinds of minerals are used in that. so... don't know what will happen with this moonstone and valestone. hmm... wish these guys would love this game like they used to. :/
They are not entirely useless: one of he supply prestige missons require minerals.
It would be nice for them to also be working on battle sprites that require moon and valestone. But of course, they're probably working on other things. And don't you think it would be nice if they did bring back the mineral arcade receptacles? I mean, once we have the sprites and no reason to give them more food, we could still stick some extra minerals in the gates. Unless I'm forgetting something about the update that removed them that actually had a good reason for getting rid of them altogether.
for some reason it feels like it has some relation to the core .... and i feel like this as the lore of valestone and moonstone IMO possess positive energy in comparison with the other 3 minerals. I feel like its about to play a HUGE role in the 'sleeper' which alpha squad parma was mentioning about(probably). Even the core has got that peaceful white theme to it. So MAYBE it has a relation with it.
After all, valestone and moonstone are MINERALS.
('but luminite also has a positive lore!' - i have no idea for that.)
im still unsure about it though :I
I don't think 000 is gonna add any more battle sprites as the 'system' is already balanced(maybe coz i think chaotic haze is very OP imo).
you think chaotic haze is OP, do you even own a maskeraith? It most certainly is not
The mineral gates were shut down due to the fact that only vale stone and moon stone levels were being generated by everyone dumping those and keeping the other minerals to feed their sprites with. It was killing the Arcade.
@vohtrak lol i dont own a maskeraith, but the random status effect (including curse) imo is too op. PS i already said IMO , which means its an opinion and not a fact.
@tech-star i totally forgot about that! Maybe that could be a possibility too.
But then shouldn't 000 remove valestone and moonstone?? Because there is no use of it except for earning prestige which can easily be replaced by the other 3.
NINJAEDIT- or it could also be that these 2 minerals can be used as an 'alternative' to the other 3! This will prevent the problems faced by the others of looking for minerals!
But still there must be SOME specific use of it yet to be released by 000 later...
@Zekronix
All i can say is that you might wanna start collecting moonstone and valestone as 000 is gonna release something related to these 2 minerals which is gonna hit you later ; so as to not suffer later on, you might want to start collecting them and NOT ignore them.(IF YOU DON'T FIND THE BATTLE SPRITE MINERAL THEN! )
***(P.S its a suggestion!)***
@Oohnodork it most certainy IS. What other pet attack do you think is OP? The seraphynx is deffencive. The drakon is useless. The maskeriath is OP.
The Maskeraith's Hexing Haze isn't that bad, but its random statuses usually hurt you more than they help you (freezing enemies you were knocking back, setting enemies on fire that you had frozen, etc.), and I usually get Curse on Lumbers and Fiends, which doesn't do anything. The quills and their poison are more useful in a battle, because they're more predictable, have guaranteed Poison instead of something non-conducive like Shocking the Quicksilver, have significantly less cooldown, and do more damage with the right setup. Also it lags less.
The Shadow Cloak is useful for setting up and getting into position; Shield Bashes still don't break the cloak, nor does taking a hit while shielding it, so you could just cloak and sorta push your way through the monsters, or take a break from the battle. The Deadly Maskeraith Cloak Ultimate, depending on what weapon you use, will 9/10 times do way more damage than the other skills of the Maskeraith, because of the nearly double Attack and additional +6 Attack Speed buff (the second also lets you do a flash charge).
To be honest, no Sprite really qualifies as OP; in the end, weapons will still make up the bulk of your damage unless you're just fooling around, and most people only equip them nowadays for the free Trinket Slot. There are a few situations where they (more than for Maskeraith) double your damage, but that requires having the Ultimates, needs good timing, and a fair amount of setup. And a fair amount of CTR in most weapons.
ok i didnt know THAT. But for sure, it LOOkS OP because of the looks of that aura!
Thanks sandwich, you beat me to explaining it
Sorry Thug, i was just joking around.
It's for bragging rights.... kind of like prestige but no one can see it
Seems like it. I keep waiting for OOO to make them marginally useful, myself. I liked it better then I could sell them for 4 cr each to the gates ;~;
