Hello, name's MacBirdie (there's my name ←, underneath my avatar) and this is a small set of some of my adventures, stories and stuff i would like to share with the community. Some stories are funny, others you can interpertate as lessons and others just stuff i want to share with you people. Also, if you have a story you would like to share, post it here.
Anyways, let's start. The story i bring can be seen as a lesson for the new players.
------
Not much time ago, I was in Haven, casually speaking to everyone or anyone who would come to me. I had recently finished the Vanguard missions and it was late like... midnight late, but i was still with the mood for one more fight. I noticed that a friend of mine (the only one online at that moment) was doing arcade, and so, feeling bored in Haven, I joined him. He wasn't alone, with him was a Knight (if i do recall it right, "knight" was his rank). Not much time later, my friend logged off and left me alone with the Knight, as he logged off i got curious of who was the boss of that arcade, it was the Roarmulus Twins and i thought to myself: "Does this guy think we're going against the twins?" i mean, he was just a Knight and i didn't wanted to carry someone ALONE. right before we got to the Ironclaw Munitions Factory we faced some monsters in a compound level, and we didn't get lucky (we both died). We were in the last room, right before the elevator, as i was about to tell him "Oh welp, cya, nice run" the guy revived me. Later, I offered him some money for the spark, but he didn't wanted, he only asked me one thing: To help him defeat the Twins.
Now starts the annoying part, he died sooooo many times and kept reviving all the time, and i told him so many times "don't use sparks, don't you know they are rare??" and would say "Lol, i got a ton of sparks, and if i ran out of them, i'll just go do some missions and get some more". I tried to convince him so many times, but he just wouldn't care for what i was saying. Conclusion: he spent 7 to 10 sparks in one roarmulus twins run.
When we got to the boss battle i told him to slay the scuttlebots, not to touch the switches, and as soon as he saw one of the twins down to attack it. We were doing fine... in the first 3 minutes, then he died and i had to finish the twins all alone. It took me 7 minutes, just me and my silversix, and i was pretty proud of myself, i didn't thought i would defeat the twins, alone, in Elite dificulty. He revived himself when i finished them off to take the tokens and then we proceeded to the elevator. I checked the time, it was almost 2pm, i logged off from SK, turned off my PC and went to sleep.
I would never see him again, I didn't "added" him in my friends list, he did sent me a request but i refused.
The lesson here is: Don't force things in SK, if you died in a mission you can always repeat it again, or if you don't want to, invite a friend to help with it. Try not to use sparks in every situation, they are rare to find and missions won't give you sparks for life. And also, when a Vanguard tells you "You can't pass this mission, it's too hard for you", 90% of the time he/she is right.

In a side note: I'll be posting more stories like these, but im a busy person (hehe) so don't expect a new story too soon, meanwhile share your own stories and adventures in Spiral Knights here. It's 1pm here, i'm sleepy and have to wake up early tomorrow, see you in Haven.
Keep Spiraling
