But if you're looking for that shield that it used to drop, it's craft able. Get a Drake Scale Shield, and, instead of making it into a Wyvern Scale, buy the Stone Tortoise Shell Shield Recipe, and after that you can make the 5* star Omega Shell.

Yeah developers didn't fancy the idea of "Free Equipment!" so they literally minimized it as much as they could, if you ask me, certain items such as a Scarlet Shield (Which should be found on Scarlet Fortress levels of course,) should be ONLY obtained through pickup, this game litterally has over 90 maybe 95% of it's items craftable......

Well I mean we realized their shells were worth more to us than the Tortodrones themselves. They were hunted to extinction. You can still see people with their shells on their back.
I've heard rumors a few live in the wild areas of the Clockworks where few come back alive. At night I've been told you can still hear them launching rockets into the starlit sky.

i have an idea
get them tortodrones back and just make the chance of getting the shields like 0.000001% chance or replace the shield with the recipe of the shield.
it'll be much better.

Although sadly, I was not in the pre-game....I read about them on the wiki and the next day I wanted to see the tortodrone, but I found out it was removed from the game, I wonder if the removed the tortrodrone just because of lag and glitches (and yes the shield drops aswell).....
