Who thinks silent nightblade recepies should cost less at the auction?
Auction house
people want to make crowns. I auction stuff too, but I put the bid price at 1 crown and put the buy price at 100000 crowns so people have to bid on it. That's how you make prices reasonable. Why can't everybody do that?
That's not reasonable at all. There's a chance only one person will bid on it, and then you've made a 9,999 crown loss. THAT isn't fair.
Making a 'buy' price of 100000 crowns is silly. There are a lot of people, myself included, who will just buy the lowest 'buy now' price and not have to wait. Find out what that 'buy now' price is. Due to the nature of the market, that will be A) low enough that people will pay it and B) high enough that you're making a profit.
THAT'S how you make prices reasonable.
I put a buy now price on a 4star item and only had to pay. 250 cr
Peta, there's a 10% fee taken after the sale goes through (you actually get the listing fee back when the item is sold) thats why people sell their items at about 11k. You can wait around for a cheap one to show up but its really rare for that to happen. I managed to get a Lightning Capacitor and Plasma Capacitor recipe for a total of 10,200 crowns which is essentially the price for the latter alone.
It's only 12700cr right now; a 1430cr profit for the seller. I just made more than that selling a twisted targe recipe ...
Okay, problem solved. Let's change the subject.
Everything auction house, tips, pricing, eta.
By the way, call me by my in game name- Dreathuxy, or Dreath for short
If you think they should cost less, then buy them off of Basil and sell them for less in the auction house. They're put there by other players.
Also note that there's a 10% auction house fee, so if a player buys a recipe at 10k, he has to sell it for 11111 just to break even. And you don't buy a recipe off of Basil planning to resell it unless you think you can do better than break even.
