Thing is...
Silkwings aren't ALIVE. You can't compare them to yourself. Anyway, I'd be fine if I was some sort of cleric knight healing his friends while they beat the living daylights out of everyone. You just make sure you don't get caught.

Devilites / Silkwing
Silkwing heals everyone in Range, Gremlin healer just one without special Skills. It's ok they can't attack.
Devilites Bosses should be able to do something like, stunning, cursing etc , Yesmen is good enough, I mean he turns into OP after Boss death and also heals him (heared about that too?).

Considering they're surrounded by devilites which (IMO) are the most annoying and difficult to block enemy in the game, I don't think I'd call them defenseless. Whereas silkwings can be just about anywhere.
I personally don't think they need attacks, they are already enough of a threat by keeping the things we want dead alive.
nice declarative statement... now wheres the suggestion? you want them to have attacks?
