Rommil, if I win I'll be making mine into a Divine Veil.
No intention of reselling this one, but I've got a Max! shock Magic Hood I'd like to sell or trade.

Also planning to make it into a veil :(
if it's a two day auction doesn't that mean it's over 48 hours from first post?
9:25
This is my first time selling an item on the forums.. could anyone please help teach me with what standard procedure is? Thanks!
Well, as there isn't sniping protection I guess Lortab wins? :(
standard procedure would be 48 hours after first bid is placed.
And its up to you to decide on anti sniping rules. Generally a 15 min no bid period before its over.
until 8/27
16:35
thats 48 hours from starting bid.
Starting bid presumably being the bid that started the auction.
(thats teh assumption i was under when i chose not to wake up at 4am in the morning to place a bid, lol).
I just spent the past 20 minutes googling the forums and it looks like "after first bid" is most common.
To prevent any further confusion, I'll end the auction at 16:35 server time. Hope this doesn't piss anyone off :/
Also, in keeping with the spirit of the original post, I'm not adding any anti-sniping rules. That's something I've learned for next time if I get lucky enough to have a next time.
Thanks all for your understanding and patience!
I think we all prefer it. At least every buyer i know does. I'm one for in favor of it.
Can lortab and lululu state their preferences please? I think we should/could all agree on an anti-snipe rule. (that way i'm not beholden to be sitting at my comp and pressing final bid at the closing seconds)--i can play the game. or grab a bite to eat wihtout fear.
I'd rather not change the auction after it's started without the consent of the other bidders.
I won't be online this afternoon so if either lululu and lortab agree to an anti-sniping rule, the 15 minute rule will be added (2 of 3 votes). Otherwise, auction continues as-is and I will be online tonight to transfer the item.
So sorry for the confusion and thanks again for all your help. I'll make sure to incorporate what I've learned from this time into any potential future auctions.
Sell it only to "Rommil" or "Pawn" and only spelled that way.
thanks you.

stayed up too late for the "last" bid as it was.
lots of auctions start from the time of post and others from time of bid.
They usually specify in post.
In this auction, the end time was decided on 3 hours before it happened.
I hope I don't get left out of this.
Going to work. Will be back on in about 8-9 hours
i already bought all recipes:
elem hood
miracle hood
grey feather cowl
Mmm. I'm not very experienced with auctions/bidding and all this is getting rather complicated for me. I leave it up to beggarbard to decide if he wants to implement a snipe rule.
Based on the last posts I had up, the auction ended at 16:35 with philidor/Rommil as the winner. Even if it means giving up a little CE, I want to keep this as fair as possible seeing as I already messed it up once.
Thanks all, and again I apologize for the confusion. :(
It blows that there was a three hour window during which you decided to have the end of the auction and I was sleeping.
I think Rommil would agree that in most situations the seller would give both interested buyers a chance at the item due to the confusion.
Oh well, I guess you've made up your mind and probably already sold it.
C'est le vie.
BTW if you look at the Auctions from the last week you'll see Rommil and I both paid 4k CE for an Elemental Max Coat.
