To Make The Forums (Suggestions a bit organized):

Due to the amount of players playing this game, and the amount of suggestions the dev’s are given each day is growing I think it would be great to organize the suggestion forum thread, so it saves people time, allows people to read suggestions which matter to them, and finally it helps the developers not feel overwhelm with the suggestions.

1.
The first thing I would add is a stick topic called (Hall of Fame). This thread can have links to suggestions made by the members of this game, which were actually used in the game. In other words, if I posted a suggestion the developers liked it and used it for this game that suggestion will go under the Hall of Fame.

2. Now to make it easier to post suggestions and read through them I suggest having subcategories such as:
1. Gameplay Suggestions (Anything about Monsters, Items, and Weapons)
2. Economy Suggestions (Suggestions to make the economy better in Sk)
3. Guild Suggestions (Anything related to guilds)
And finally the regular suggestion thread will be for anything that does not go into any of the sub-forums.

That’s my idea hope you like it. If you do support this just say “Ice cream” in your post.

Search and Repeat.

I think this could be helpful, I like the idea of making smaller sections of the suggestion section. I think it will help to stop repeat posts, cause we all know the majority is not doing a search for topics before they post anything. Oh and... Ice Cream.

and maybe make a standard

and maybe make a standard thingy.

so if its a guild suggestion put [Guild]
Gameplay [Play]
Economy [Energy]

so if i was going to rant on about how much i wanted a sack costume i would put

[Play] Sack Costume Rant!

and with the hall of fame.... it could be made, and contributed to. be great if equinox made it a sticky thread to.

Seems a bit troublesome so

Seems a bit troublesome so I'm neutral about it. However, if they do this, they also need a "DO NOT SUGGEST LIST" thread, of things they will not implement no matter what.

Stolen from Dead Frontier >.>

But I think it would be useful, that way if the developers take a stand on certain features say not adding bigger mist tanks, then that would be that and no more threads should be created about it. Granted someone will almost always make one anyway but nobody will have to bother typing up reasons why they should or shouldn't support that, because the developers would've officially said NO.

EDIT: This is a bump post now. Also...starting to see the same suggestions again. We really could use something like this.

Yup.

Energy threads return thick and fast again. Ew.

We really need to organise them; or even get Forum Mods to delete/direct threads to previous arguments that are exactly the same.

it would also be nice if they

it would also be nice if they (the devs) noted suggestions that they would actually use. have they done that yet? i havent dug through the backlog. however it would be neat to know what ideas they take seriously, and maybe give the suggestors some credit for their idea.

it seems like the majority of these threads are players wasting their breath.. whether its a good idea that gets buried in bad ideas, or a good idea that isnt heard, or just.. people wasting developers time with ideas that would never work / be implemented.

I have no idea, this is why

I have no idea, this is why this suggestion actually needs to be implemented in some form, whether its the DNSL (Do not suggest list) or Generally Accepted Suggestions (the opening poster called it "hall of fame").

They more seem to just put it into the game after enough debate has happened. Like I'm sure there's been a longtime debate over how fast lichens used to hit, and they finally decided to slow them down a bit with the last update. But there's never any real indication of when or why they change it, I think the only one that I know of that was a direct response to players (though I haven't been around for long) was the show attack damage option thing. Not only did nick put it in announcements, he made a separate thread about the response they have about that kind of thing and stuff.

Oh, but sir.

My threads are renowned far and wide for their content and their longevity.
I've started over 1000 300+ post threads, okay? You think you know a lot about getting stickied posts? Well you don't, not know that I'm here. I know everything there is about getting people's attention. See that .gif? It's a mecha knight from a somewhat old cartoon. What do you think when you see a mecha knight? You think, look at that mecha knight, what is she doing. Then you post in the thread. That's already been proven because you just posted so checkmate on that point. I bet you've made nowhere near the amount of successful threads I have. I've made about 100 threads that have been archived. For a while back in 2007 I was known across all the boards as Archive Joe because all my threads ended up being archived. I never once posted with an forumname either but everyone knew me when I posted because my posts are just of such high quality.

What makes you think you're anywhere near as good of a thread starter as me? I've been starting threads since I was a wee baby. Back then I started threads on the international telegraph lines, a bit like the internet but everyone communicated in binary and you were more likely to suffer from scarring electrical shock when the equipment malfunctioned. Did it stop me? No, no it didn't. I don't know who you think you are because I'll bet you haven't ever even seen a telegraphogram let alone started a thread on one. It was complex business and today it's just so much easier which is why all my threads are always perfect.

Compare your ice cream to mine and then self-rev.
