I've been playing since July, and I think I'm beginning to understand big parts of the game mechanics, but there are two things I can't understand.
1 : Why there are so many zero or 1 star items in the AH ? Is there a market for those items ? Who buy beast bashers or firecrackers ? I can't figure out this thing. What's the point of buying items with no alchemy path ?
2 : The best way to get good Uv's.
When I look in the bazaar section of the forum (or in the trade channel) and I see people selling 5, 10 or more items with really good UV's, I really wonder : how the hell did they get all that stuff ?
The only way I know to get good UV's is to mass craft 2* items and sell them for a small loss, or to craft 3* items for a very small profit (or at least no loss), but you can't flood the AH with 3* items without loosing money.
For example I'm looking for CTRmed bombs actually, so it means if I don't want to loose money, I can craft two 3* bombs of each kind of bomb per day. That way I'm quite sure I'm not flooding the AH, and everything I craft is sold for a small profit (or only a very small loss). As Im' looking for CTRmed Fiery, toxic, blast and crystal, I do around 8 to 16 crafts per day depending of the market.
That way it can take years to get the UV's you want.
I can buy premade UV's, but try to find a CTRmed toxic vap in the AH, it has been one complete week and I haven't seen one.
In the long run, isn't mass crafting 2* items for Uv's, costs a lot more than simply buy premades Uv's ?
I didn't like Punch when he was 15k, so now he's 20...
If I had answers to theses questions, I would not play better, but my SK life would make more sense.
1. Many armors look nice as costumes. Otherwise, people REALLY still buy them which is why others even try putting them up on the AH. Not everyone has read the memo saying skip to 2-star items :D
2. Craft 2* twice per day on mist is cheap. Mass crafting at a time though, nah... 50 CE to craft and it doesn't sell for much over 2k at the AH...
Premade UV's can be expensive depending on seller...
