The Troika line of swords is really fun to use, I love the model, and I am a big fan of normal damage weapons (as I still use a 2 weapon loadout). It is awesome that you guys extended the Troika line to 5* (and even in 2 branches no less). I hate to sound ungrateful, but it is just not a weapon that many people are going to invest the time and money to make 5* (the people that I have talked to who have the 5* have been disappointed). The problem is there just is not much to make it attractive over the sealed swords. The Divine Avenger (DA) outshines the Sud/Trig even against neutral enemies and doesn't have a big advantage vs elemental resistant enemies. The DA's charge attack is also head and shoulders above the slow Sud/Trig charge with the huge pause after the swing. The one thing that I thought might make the Sud/Trig a viable option to keep around was its immense size. The model is significantly longer then the Sealed/DA/GF model so I thought it might have a reach advantage. I know the DA/GF is a reward weapon so I get that its supposed to be better & it makes since to have the DA/GF's charge attack so powerful. Though it would be nice to at least have the end of the Sud/Trig's charge animation shield cancelable to speed it up a bit.

I have been doing some experimenting with sword first swing reach in the Advanced Training Hall (ATH). I equip 2 swords and swing at a breakable object until I reach a distance that one sword hits & the other does not, or until I am satisfied that both swords have virtually equal reach. I found that indeed the Troika does have a significant reach advantage over an Ascended Calibur. However, I was really disappointed to find out that the Troika and the Sealed sword have the exact same reach. Even though the model for the Troika is much longer then the model for the Sealed Sword.

It might make the Troika lines of swords more attractive to players if the size of the model was reflected in the actual reach of the swing. I love the look of Troika lines, it makes be feel a bit like Cloud Strife (yes, I have seen Punch & Vise's Buster Sword, great touch).
