Hey you! Yeah you. Are you interested in joining a guild that's fun, mature, active, and totally awesome? :D
Well, I'm pleased to say that you should be interested in Aurora. In Aurora we dedicate ourselves to maximizing the MMO experience in Spiral Knights: from diving deeper into the clockworks to taking arms in lockdown and everything in between, we know everything that goes down in SK will be that much funner with other people. That's where we come in. We're a small, tight-knit and active bunch, founded for nothing other than a strong community, and we're hoping that we can meet other social, fun-loving knights and have an even better time in the clockworks. So, onto the basics:
Requirements:
- You must be active
- You must be mature
- You must be here to have a good time. C:
We're, as said before, built for community; skill and gear is not a factor in recruitment. We're not looking for full 5* players, and we're not looking for the best of the best (though if you are either, brownie points :3). If you enjoy playing the game and want to enhance your experience with a guild, that's good enough for us :).
Rules of the Guild (every recruit, member, veteran, officer, and guild master is expected to follow these):
- Fulfill the requirements. That means be mature, be active, and always be here to have a good time. C:
- Be honorable. Don't talk trash, be useless in a party, beg, spam, hate, troll, etc etc. As a member you'll be the face of our guild to Haven, and we want you to be a good representation of what we stand for.
- Help guildmates. We're all one big team, and sometimes the little boost you can offer a guildie can help them get to that higher place. #totallynotcheesyatall
- Learn. Relationships are advanced by mutual teaching, and we (hopefully) have just as much to teach you as you can teach us, whether it be about Spiral Knights, life in general, or even some random 'gremlin chatter.' It's a win-win situation.
- Have fun. Simple as that.
Ranking:
Aurora is founded upon the idea that the guild should be run by the players, and for the players. In this sense, the ranks are, to some extent, superficial: a recruit will have as much say as a veteran in the guild's affairs. Yet, we like to distinguish our long-time community members to some newer people, and thus follows:
- Recruit: Fresh into the guild, and/or no T2 access.
- Member: T2 access, and smoothly integrated into the guild.
- Veteran: Devoted player, active/fluent in the happenings of the guild, and T3 access. Willing to help train/guide recruits through boss, equipment, and general playing strategies.
- Officer: Active, involved, and voted into place by the guild. T3 access, and willing to help guildies in any way necessary, from advice to running with them. Is trusted to help recruit fun-loving and promising people to the guild.
- Guild Master: Proposes and implements changes to the guild and it's direction, and works with the officers to ensure all guildies are having a good time. As always, active and involved.
Rankings are most heavily influenced by activity and involvement in the guild. Tier requirements, in cases, will be overlooked if the other requirements are fulfilled.
(In)activity!
There are just a couple guidelines about activity:
- You are not expected to play every day (We know people have social lives :])
- If you will be inactive for longer than a week, please notify the GMs/Officers
- Players inactive for a month without notice will be removed from the guild, to make room for new players [Veterans will be given 2 months, and some special circumstances will be extended]
- If you have been removed from the guild for inactivity but are returning, please post here! We'd love to have you back :]

Anko or Flare for short. I stab,shoot, and blow crud up in clockworks and lockdown or anywhere that allows me to! Always looking forward to working with some new faces. If in need with any kind of assistance don't be afraid to ask me. I usually try my best to help~ Fought all the bosses(minus shadow lair) before, use a diverse arsenal, read the wiki every once in a while, and some out of game stuff. Can't say I know it all, but it's good enough. Did I mention that,I'm a spontaneous gamer artist who likes to humor people from time to time? Also, I tend to think a bit too much or just multitask, so delayed posts from me happen. As for delays during a run, I'm a lot more focused on making monster's heads spin. @w@

4. About an hour a day given the opportunity. Sometimes school/work/life will keep me busy, but most of the time I get on for at least a lil' bit.

I have 5-star armor (Grey Feather Cowl and Radiant Silvermail) and 4-star/3-star weapons (Avenger, Nightblade, or Flourish paired with a Cryo Driver, Antigua, or Toxic Catalyzer depending on the stratum, with the occasional bomb on tier 2) I prefer to use the sword and keep the pressure high but can adapt to fit a variety of roles if needed.

How much do you play in an average week? At least 1.5 hours a day, minus a day or two for labs and assignments, = 9 hours a week.
Gear/loadout/preferred playstyle? Full Ash Tail set, Vile Striker, Wise Owlite Shield soon to be Dark Thorn Shield, Shadowtech Alc soon to be Shadow Driver. I prefer in-your-face fighting that isn't long or drawn-out (noticeable because I use an extremely quick blade with poisoning).

Why do you want to join Aurora? I love the way you describe yourself, and you hold yourselves to having a good time playing with no pressure. Also, you allow progression by including the fact that maturity will get you places. play time? i play for at least an hour or two every day after school with the exception of maybe 3 days a month. on weekends i game like there is no tomorow:)
gear/loadout/playstyle? right now i am using cobalt armor, defender shield, magic hood, shocking blade, and regular pistol. i plan to get more advanced gear as time permits. i like to charge up weapons for powerful one or two hit kills. in big arena battles when i am on low health and alone i take out a pistol...run backwards in circles and slowly but surly weaken them and kill them.

why do i wish to join? i would like to join because i think being in a good guild will make my playing experience a lot more fun. ie...if i want to go straight to a low depth and skip some of the easy ones i can maybe join a guild member. or if i did already get to a low depth by myself someone could join me. and as i progress in the guild ranks i could possibly lead others through the beginning stages of the guild. i am also just a sociable person and like playing co op rather than alone.

What time zone are you in? EST(GMT-5)
How much do you play in an average week? This really depends. I try to play at east a bit on week days, but often I can't. On weekends, I usually play for at least an hour and a half per day.
Gear/loadout/preferred playstyle? Gear: Mining Hat, Proto Shield, Vitasuit, Calibur, Stun Gun. I generally prefer to use my sword and shield up close.
Do you have Skype? No.
Why do you want to join Aurora? I'm looking for a guild where I can do lots of Clockworks runs, with many active members.
Favorite pokemon? I'm hugging everyone that says Pikachu <3. My love of Pikachu was tainted by my brother constantly using him against me in Smash Bros. Games. I'm going to have to say Sunkern.
