Hey guys, Kangster45 here and after seeing so many varying prices for TF2 goods/etc, i have decided to make a quick and concise summary of the values to greater inform the SK community of the values of TF2 items. I will be using this (http://tf2spreadsheet.blogspot.com/) spreadsheet.

Basic Guide of CE to Keys, Bills, Buds, Weapons, and Max's Severed Head.

350-450 CE per ref. (-#) is the "high price"

2.33*350(-450) = 815.5(-1048.5) CE per Key
815.5(-1048.5)*6 = 4893(-6291) CE per Bills
815.5(-1048.5)*16 = 13,048(-16,776) CE per Buds
13,048(-17,776)*3 = 39,144(-53,328) CE per Max's Severed Head

Weapons:

1 Weapon/2 (2 Weapons can be made to one scrap)/3 (3 scrap can be crafted into one reclaimed)/3 (3 reclaimed can be combined into one refined) * 350(-400).

Simplified

1/2/3/3*350(-450)

You see, I love to read here and on tf2 trading forums/sites, all people who say "this is worth this and this".
Then I answer, ok, I'll buy/sell it at your prices.

Guess what?
People who want to settle lower prices on things, don't have them themselves to sell.
People who want to settle higher prices on things, don't buy them at the very same price they say!

So, how can we trust who claims value on things, but never and never trade on their own words?
The truth is, you have the right to speak only on actual trades you do.
You claim a strange machina is worth 3 keys? Link me a post where you are selling it at 3 keys.
You claim a refined is worth 450 ce? Link me a post where you are buying them at 450 ce.

The fact that half of my friend list is made of people who sell me tf2 items for ce, assure me that all those "I pay a lot" buyers actually are just trolls. Otherwise, I would never get to buy even a weapon.

I said 450 was the high price because it was made a bit of a time ago, people accused me of "trying to control the market price" when i had my original price at 350-450. If you dont care about the high price, stick to the low price. :P Tyvm

I have about 16 to-be-scrap weapons, a Vintage Jar of Piss and a Grimm Hatte.

I also got a Strange Crossbow (you would be surprised as to how often it kills... by that I mean it never kills) and a Genuine Short Circuit, but I would prefer to know the price of those before I sell them. If you offering a really good deal on Stranges, I got a S.Equalizer.

I'll just use earbuds as an example- earbuds go for about 25-30 dollars each, and 20,000 ce is 50 bucks meaning 10,000 ce should be one earbuds.

What's happening this week is something most are not aware of. It's not that the earbuds popped in value, because the cash value is still the same. What happened is that the infamous "spreadsheet" writer, took advantage of his position in making a break in the market.
What's happening right now, is that people are still buying them at 25-27$, then selling to unaware/spreadsheet people at 20-22 keys, and by reselling the keys very cheap ( 1.5$ ) they are making profit. This scheme will eventually collapse, so meanwhile I would consider the earbuds value as a "bubble" and so, unstable.

Syldria:

Don't expect me to buy items at even more than full value: if you value any item so much, sell them and I'll be very happy to buy your refined/keys - after all, getting refined and keys is my goal.
Now: the bison and 5k are just normal droppable weapons, so their value is 20 ce.
for the jag, 160, soda, 360, sandman 40, black veil, 1100, for the game I pass for now, for the coupons 10 ce for all, the genuines 3000 each.

I don't think I can put & hold together enough ce to get one of the rarest item of tf2. Probably if you could split it down to keys it would be simpler for me to buy those over time. However, I guess that people on source op would be very willingly to give you cash for it.
For the max, I would say almost the same except that after all the duping that happened, i would be less than happy to get one in my hands

I went with a ballpark for ref => energy 400, and so I put it as such. I know you're buying @ 360 each, which is fair.

Well, some folks sell weapons for a scrap, I just chose some fun Soldier weapons to do so - not trying to overprice at all. The Veil is 4.33 Ref because of the BLACK PAINT, you know how valuable & sought after Lack of Hue is, right? I was figuring you might wear it, because you know.. it's a great Sniper Misc.

Black Veil - 360 CE x 4.33 = 1558 CE, that's using your price & the ref value I set for it.
I can go Popper & Sandman for 460
I'm fine with selling the Bison & CM5K as a set for 40 as well.
Jags are 2 rec - 1 ref on TF2TP, 160 CE is 1 Rec, 1 Scrap by your pricing.

The G. AC:R Spy hat & knife are worth five keys each, last I saw, so I'll pass.

I buy items when people want to get rid of them and don't want to fussle with the tf2 trading market to convert items in the currency i'm seeking for, which is refined and keys.
Now, if you say me that a black veil is 4.33, I just ask you to go and sell it, and give me 4.33 metal - so you get the CE you wanted and you are happy, I get the Metal I wanted and I am happy.
So, my prices are firm. I'm already full of items to sell, including 2 of each of asc:r genuines. For anything more than what I said, it's just better for me to keep my ce/crowns for all the random weapon/metal/keys sellers on my list.
After all, I don't understand why did you not already sell the items on tf2tp, with all those good prices that are around there...
