New Zone- The Spiral Seas

STORY:
Water supplies in Haven have always come from the Fountain in the Plaza but recently the flow of usable water has been running dry. A team of Avid Explorers and Highly Respected Geologist went on a search for any evidence of water on this mechanized planet.
The team went to trace the origins of the fountains water and to there surprise they found a entire tropical oasis with flooded lvls of the clockwork there was enough water to supply the residence of the Planet "this is how the plants and animals stay alive in this unforgiving environment" explains Weigner Expedition leader. after discovering this new land further research was needed so as the knights set bases from island to island to gather said info they were stopped by the Gremlin pirates who had plundered the seas from the beginning of time only safe place was beneath the surface into the depths. New problems arose like the simplest, oxygen. Knights devised safes houses and oxygen stations for longer stays but the development of the seas has only begun we need your help to learn more.
THREE MAIN LEVEL TYPES:
Tropics- The land levels where you don't have to worry about oxygen supplies but the Enemies are much more dangerous as they are Pirate themed
Sandy with palm trees and water flowing over the edge of the map into the clockwork below,
Reef- Beautiful colored and Coral Reef themed map with monsters resembling reef life, and rusted metal. Oxygen stations can be found easily in these . zones and instead of heat you get oxygen. under the water movement is slowed
Abyss- The Deep dark levels of the under sea clockwork, sporting dim lighting and rusting metal, ship wreckage and doom is all around Beware Oxygen is rare down here as only a few creatures drop it when they die and only a few air vents work under the pressure, you may need to have someone bring some oxygen bombs that explode and give oxygen to allies and yourself or build up so tier 5 Sea Shields that when up slowly recover oxygen. under the water and extreme pressure your movement speed is slowed.
BOSSES:
Tropic- is the Pirate King
Reef- is the Mighty Puffer (a King Puffer fish monster)
Abyss- is the biggest boss the Ruler of the seas, the Poseidon of the clockwork, Neptsidon a reptilian sea monster sporting an impressive trident and with an arsenal of lethal attacks.
EASE OF ACCESS:
Must have a certificate from the Leader of the expedition approved entrance, this certificate is granted after defeating vanaduke, these lvls create a new experience where once you build your new weapons (where many materials or need from the classic areas) you may want to lvl them up in the classic areas to get heat. The weapons are like a tier 6 weapon as they create new goals for veteran players to achieve.
NEW WEAPONS/ARMOR:
I need Help on this but there will be an
Oxygen bomb- that is free basically you just need to craft it which it cost no energy and only 200 CR it takes a few materials from both the classic lvls and the sea lvls but will prove useful for your team to have at least one of these creating more co-op work
Cutlass Series- that buffs allies when charged increasing stats (need help on which stats maybe Attack speed or Attack damage or movement)
Trident Series a class of swords that when charged summon a sea monster to instantly deal damage to the area in front of you (may cause a status affect) and then dies off after 3 seconds- has a relatively long charge time
Sea Shields- that once you build the tier 5 version grant oxygen back to you when up, these are good but other shields are better if you have oxygen bombs on your team. -Shell shield (much stronger shield comparable to many current 5 tier shields but is very poor oxygen regain) -Star shield(best oxygen regain shield but only helps yourself, very weak as a shield but is strong against shadow) -Scuba shield (by far the best for teams with AoE oxygen regain)
Urchin Bomb- is a sticky bomb that once placed is idol until a monster hits it then the urchin attaches itself to the enemy and slowly kills it and dmgs all enemies in an area around the enemy it is attached to. this has a long charge and deals non lethal hits good to have to lower health on a large mob but will not kill them
Swash Bucklers Pistol Series- Pistols that when charged deal bonus damage to the first target it hits then bounce from target to target dealing less and less damage
Spear Gun Series- a heavy gun dealing allot of damage and is especially strong in the reef, when charged latches onto the target giving the player the ability to drag the enemy around
Wave Pulse Gun- a unique high tier 6 gun able to destroy enemies, when charged unleashes a tsunami damaging all enemies in front of the user and pushing them back , very long charge time
TRAPS
Whirl Pool trap- slows your movement speed greatly leaving you vulnerable to attacks.
Sea Spout trap- shoots jets of extremely hot water out of the ground causing a burn status
Land Mine- traps pirates have placed to protect there treasure
Sea Mine- remains of an ancient war these things are just waiting to explode
Shocking Anemone (turret/trap)- Not only if you touch this thing you get shocked it shoots little fishies at you
Note on the tropic lvls you may find the same traps as in the classic levels

So uhm, the enemies, they would be water types, no? There is no such thing, is there S: ? Great idea though! BUMPPPPPP

first, I don't like the oxygen Idea, it's a whole new mechanic for only one type of levels otherwise it's good and I have some suggestions.
One, the tokens are called, sunken treasure ( for abyss), black pearls ( for tropics) and Soaking spikes ( for reef ( puffer-fish boss)).
Two you move and attack slower than normal in the water (all the enemys move at normal speed), making it harder to defeat things.
Three there is no shadow damage in the tropics and all enemys in the tropics do elemental slash something damage, all the enemys in the abyss do shadow slash something damage and all the enemys in the reef do piercing damage.
You need guns like a spear-gun for sea tokens.

Wow thanks for all the positive feedback :D and I love the ideas like the whirlpool traps and the sea mines, and your weapon suggestions I never even though of but a tsunami gun and a spear gun would be sweet, the only gun I was thinking of was maybe a pirate gun that when charges the bullet would bounce between 5 enemies dealing extra damage on the first it and later hits deals less and less. I was thinking cannons like energy turrets or the equivalent to gun puppies in the tropic levels. I love the token names and the damage type layout. I think a basic Oxygen concept would be tolerable if there are a decent amount to reef and abyss lvls, I thought about that as-well that it might be hard to incorporate that change in a small portion of the game, so that's why I feel the oxygen bombs should be close to free just a little bit of crafting with no cost. I feel this would bring something new for veteran players I'm going to put a monster list in the main post soon most monsters (especially in the tropics will be based off the current monsters like crablings and scuttlebots, Jellies and sea jellies -common to inflict shock no matter which status effect they are so they may cause poison and shock-)

Instead of getting new shields how about trinkets to give oxygen?

I love this idea I hate it when games always lack a good water themed zone, I feel that this should get some attention I know it never will but ehh worth a shot everything in there is GOLD.... Please OOO Read this damn post if any they do read READ THIS ONE.

Maybe have a subtier where on the overview of possible maps in that run is all static so its a mistery and have this mystery subtier on all elevators or what every you want to use idk maybe boats, oooh like submarine boat types yeah that would be sweet. Anyways in the mystery tier you might get the very rare Polar map where its in and out of water and land and its frozen and being in the water too long will freeze you and have a secret boss the Polar trirent, maybe a giant orcha looking boss that would be like a chomper type monster. or a polar bear, or walrus, or penguin :D PENGUIN!!! also please re post your Sky Ideas I didnt get to see it and I would love to because you put alot of thought into your epic ideas

Idk I like the oxygen shields because it makes it new and different and gives you the choice of more protection or move oxygen but in all trinkets would be simpler I just wish we had one free trinket slot it kinda makes me frustrated because I dont have a surplus of CE to get an upgrade every 30 days alone also build up a plethora of Cr the micro econmic of this game make me rage sometimes lol.

I would support the whole oxygen idea only if you didnt need any preparation before hand. That is, all oxygen is available within the levels, they just take some sort of skill to acquire them. Just as how you dont buy matches to light candles on candlestick keep.
It would be cool if the boss battle was a bit like an old school pirate movie, where the party is on one ship and the boss is on the other. You have to carry cannonballs to the cannon to shoot at the enemy ship, while dodging enemy cannon fire and fighting off people trying to board your ship. Of course, you can destroy ladders that the enemies are using.
After that stage, you board the enemy ship and you fight the boss on his own deck. But a fire is spreading on the ship. With each stage of damaging him, he'll flee towards the bow of the ship and the area behind you gets consumed by fire, eventually you corner him on the plank and force him to walk off it. Once that happens, the ship manages to land ashore, where all your goodies await you.

Skyber I like your art too ^.^ very nice maybe a few tweaks to look a little more pirate but I like the techno vibe :D it looks very nice im going to draw up my rendition of him based off your drawing with the same color scheme and some fundimental apperance features

They would have to create a totally new system for the oxygen then.. I think, as I believe was stated above me, there should be a small oxygen tank on you that would decrease with damage and slowly over time. It would be at a base of like, 300 seconds, and lower by ten with every hit. Then with (permanent) oxygen stations listed around every other room (or however much would be necessary), it re-heals to max. Basically, the entire underwater wouldn't need a whole new system - it's basically a flag race with a penalty for damage. That seems like it would be far easier. Or, a timer for your whole oxygen tank from the beginning, and you have to make it to the Elevator by the time it ends, or you "drown", resulting in a death.

i like it but the oxygen might be a confusing system like Kashu said.also wouldnt there be only one boss?other those thoughi like it so..

This might be a fun thing to implement. So, every few levels or so one would come across a "mini-boss" appropriate for that area and tier.
Anyways, this does sound like a fun idea. The only problem would be, how would a new status affect gameplay.
Which, some NPCs said that there are many other status-based and creature-based gates yet to be discovered, so it could be implemented in a patch later down the road.

Well Idk I feel that water would be under elemental but weak agianst ice, but um all the differences in dmg types and character types are the status effects they can create, there would still be the other core dmg types in there and not really any new ones. remember we arent going to through these maps into the normal clock work they are in a new area of haven that takes you there

you just made me realize that knights probably do all their business in that fountain in the plaza.
As well as use it as a source of drinking water >.<

Suggestions:
Alternative option: Instead of mist energy, you need oxygen, which of course, is in oxygen tanks (possible to upgrade to more)
Also, maybe when you get damaged, it does damage to your armor instead of directly at you (similar fashion to shield health), and when your armor runs out of health, it "leaks," and you slowly run out of oxygen until you die. Of course, that can be repaired by your fellow players, etc.
Maybe instead of an actual bomb, you can have oxygen capsules that you can buy and bring with you. Either that, or you can have a complete "medic" class based off a oxygen bomb who's main job is to replenish the group's oxygen, with other gear in the same category (ex: armor grants more oxygen, like a vitasuit-> health, but decreases attack power. Also, shield can cover a large radius like lockdown's guardian shield, which slowly recovers oxygen for those in it, but also breaks sooner as well. Weapons could be relatively weak but have high knockback as to help preserve medic's health, or maybe weapons that do little to no damage but have a high chance of inflicting status)
The urchin bomb idea sounds interesting but may be too overpowering if a group spams it and simply runs away while the monster dies. Maybe a mine-like bomb that detonates on contact? Ranging from explosion to status to spike mines?
Boss ideas: +1, i'll let someone else elaborate on that...

Underwater "floor" traps:
Whirlpools that restrict your movement if you are caught in one, you can get out, but you move slowly through it, leaving you open to attacks.
Underwater volcanoes: Sends projectiles everywhere, can cause "fire" status (or an underwater version of it)
Underwater mines: Remnants from a previous war? Contact will cause them to explode, or can be underwater version of explosive blocks.
