[GUIDE] How to check when topic was active last time - Check date before answering!

More and more ppl, new or not really, are answiering in topics that were inactive for like month or so. Things like that are not allowed and are annoying players becouse mostly old topics are out of date (if they are guide topics many things have changed, if they are about SK economy they are of course wrong since prices change all the time). Answering in topics like that will not only annoy other players but also would make you look very silly.
So lest go to the point, HOW DO I CHECK WHEN TOPIC WAS LAST TIME ACTIVE?
Firstly, when you open a topic you with to answer, you need to scroll down to the last answer ( would do it anyways since there is "answerbox"). You have to stop near the last post and focus on little numbers in top left corner of post-frame

The numbers i highlighted with red pencil is a DATE telling us when this post was made, it tells us when topic was last active. The date we are intrested in is the date of posting last post in topic.
You see it? It says: Tue, 11/29/2011 - 18:56
What does it mean? That this post was made on Tuesday, 29 of november year 2011 (date is showed in mm/dd/yyyy format) at 18:56 hour (6:56PM).
Now the hard part. The interpretation. As you can see, today is 06 of january year 2012. It means that this topic was NOT active for more than month. It means that its old, outdated and when you will answer it IT WILL BE BAD. You will necro old topic and outdated topic, it will not only annoy other people but will make you look silly and propably you will be laughted off.
So, before answering ALWAYS check the last post date. It will help keeping forum clean and will save you from looking silly. Thank you.

How is this "not allowed" ? Show me in the ToS where it states a person can not post on an old thread.
While I see your point about information becoming "outdated" is it not also boon to see the progress of change concerning mechanics within the game?
Many times, it is advantageous for all of knowledge and opinions about a topic to reside in one location. It simply makes sense for data recovery.
Do we really need 300 separate threads about CE pricing, or accessories? Lets make sure to talk all new players into making a brand new thread when they want to discuss their calibur blades.
Would it not be better to make a guide outlining how to search for information From Old Threads on the forums before posting a new one about the same topic?
The whole "thread necro" thing is just a pet peeve.

If your going to keep bumping this digital turd, why not take a moment and answer this:

Awaiting your reply.

Why do we have a graveyard section then? Why not direct all new player questions into one thread?
Maybe its not in the ToS, maybe its just players being picky.
And that's a good guide to make, regardless of your position in necro/necro'ing.
Only threads like this is allowed to be necroed.
