OOO plz respond --regards to NEWEST featured auctions and timeframe

So, the new featured Auctions have been up for well over 24 hours...about 36 or so, and they should be ending tonight around 11pm central time, given the 48 hour v.long timeframe that most all auctions are held to.

Yet, they are still at v.long?!?!? Can we get an explanation? Can we get an estimated end time from teh dev team? I don't want to miss the ending time, as i've been actively asking for this auction for quite some time. Are they going to accelerate greatly as the night goes on to end in the 48 hour standard time frame? should i be home at that time? Are they for some unknown reason going to be longer than 48 hours?

i am confused. Any light you can shed onto these mysterious mysteries would be appreciated.

Maybe....

Maybe the featured auctions don't have the same procedures as normal auctions?
So they may last even longer than the normal 'Very Long'?

in the past they haven't tho

in the past all featured auctions have followed the standard format of your standard auction length

with one exceptions:
it seems first time they were put up, they were listed as very long and stayed there for a number of days longer than usual (with buyout only options) then quickly disappeared without warning.

Which is why i'm asking for some sort of clarification. I very much want to be home when the time gets down to v.short and am willing to juggle my day around to do so, but to do so, i need to know when they end.

Featured Auctions can exceed

Featured Auctions can exceed the standard auction times. In the case of the Bombhead Masks, they were set to 3 days.

I thought every one noticed that Feat Auctions tend to be longer than the reg limits.
