Spiral knights Merchandise?
Is it ever going to be a possibility? I think it could be awesome if done right, there could be plush Snipes and Action Figures of the Knights(possibly other characters/monsters as well?)that could have interchangeable gear.
What does everyone else think?

>Snipe Slippers.
I'll take 100! Size 7/8
haha, that could be fun. but i dont think the team has the capability right now. thought i certainly wouldnt mind if they sell models that you can customize like in-game.
Clothing would be another thing to add to that! I want me some Wolver Coats irl.
lifesized rocket puppy pillows and mewkat plushies.
Gummy snacks in the shapes of jelly cubes.
4 flavors:
Jelly
Brute
Rocky
Royal
And they could sell them in a neat little transparent box shaped like a jelly cube.

Would buy a plush Imposter cube or mewkat in a heartbeat.

I would want an actual magikat hat but would never wear it because I would look silly...
pez/gum dispenser gun puppy
You guys sound like a marketing department, lol.
But also FFFFFFFFF Snipe slippers. Yes please.
Is there really a market for this?
I could make an impostocube plush pretty quickly. Well, affixing the pipe would be a bit of a chore, but other than that. Shipping would prolly cost a bit because I'm in eastern-ish Europe though.
PS.: that is, if OOO/Sega representatives are okay with it.
PPS.: I'm okay with being paid in CE :D
PPPS.: in fact, it'd be really damn awesome if you could buy real official merchandise with CE (maybe with the addendum that you still need to pay the postal fees).
I'll definitely buy a Magnus Plushie.
Especially if a Vanaduke Plushie comes out. I'd need protection.
Anything they produce will be awesome!
MewKat & Devilite & Snipe Plushie :D
Love Puppy keychain?
I was thinking of learning how to make molds out of resin and a few other materials, so I could possibly do some of this. Only problem is the fact that I suck at sculpting/carving. It would be cool, though, I was thinking of making concrete full-scale Gun Puppies.
Oh, and Snipe plushies. NEEEEEEEEEEED.
pupu, i think i love you. esp if they made the CHOMPCHOMPCHOMP noise when you use the stapler. :o
Haha. Maybe making up merchandise is my secret vocation.

A T-Shirt saying the following:
Front: Spiral Knights
Back: Ready To Grind?
^Would not wear it out in public be a great t-shirt for in-house lol
Snipe Slippers - If they are like my ugg slippers I am so down to buying them.
Wolver Hoodie - A Hoodie that is nice and warm like the wolver armor
Acheron - I want a sword with a fishing pole irl tbh
Thats all for now =)
You can already make your own jelly cubes using Jello and an ice cube tray. ;)

I want a shirt that has all the gate icons in a pattern, like the top of these.
I'm with NJ on the wolver hoodie, especially if the inside of the hood has a fur lining so when the hood is down it has that furry collar look thing going on, like the wolver coats.
Snipe beanies and slippers would be cool.
Maybe even Mewkat beanies.
If Spiral Knights starts picking up and becomes a feature franchise, I wouldn't be surprised if there were action figures and other collectibles down the line.
oh god yes. ^
oh also royal jelly crown hat plz.
and uhh, deadshot poncho wouldn't be too hard to make?
mewkat pillow please. <3
wolver pillow too.~
and uhhh everything else, would buy.
hm, OH! that one mewkat drop, the kitty hat. *edit was beaten to last one*
oh god that'd be so cool, I'd have a reason to keep my CE too :D

OHGODYES. I WANT A DEVIL-IT, THOSE GLASSES ARE SO CUTE.
Dibs on a life-size Vanaduke, assuming that the knights are human-sized... =P
I'd totally buy a Wolver coat! That would be so awesome!
I'd kill for a plushie of my character. :P

A little trophy with my character and name carved in on the marble base! In a epic pose!
But dang thats gunna be expensive.
Man, it's times like these that I really want a 3d printer.

Describe (realistic) stuff you would actually purchase. We'd love to get some ideas!

I think plushies would both sell and be realistic. Jellies, Snipes, maybe even Wolvers, Kats and Devilites, would be very cool. Like I said above I would love a stuffed Impostocube.
I could see T-Shirts also being practical and selling well.

A wolver stapler would be neat. There are these staple-less staplers that Think Geek sells. I think with a simple button battery or AAA you could make it automatically punch the paper when it's inserted into the mouth and make the barking noise. >3
Plushies for the various critters would also be a good sell. Kats, wolvers, impostocube, the gremlins, etc. All good stuff. Also as mentioned some hats would be cool too, like the aforementioned mewkat hat idea, but also I'd like a Mender cap myself. And then the various armour caps (who doesn't want a wolver cap?) could also work.
Don't know if it's off-topic...But it would be nice to see a Spiral Knights DLC for LittleBigPlanet 2 :)
I would snatch one up so fast. Wolver coats seriously sound like a really cool thing that you should have in an official marketplace for this game.
--a set of shot glasses with the different strata types (undead, gremlin, beast, jelly, etc)
--keychains/buttons/refrigerator magnets?
Yeah, I would not be caught in a Wolver Coat IRL. I would, however, fill my apartment with snipe plushies.

Looking for a Shocking Edge - shaped taser.
Wind-up trojan action figures :3
Also a globe, but replace earth with cradle.

Devilite action figures with catapult arms. Devilite comes w/ stapler & office chair, Blarful comes with two random pieces of trash, Devil-ITs come with two motherboards, Firebrander w/ two fireballs, and Layoafers w/ two snowballs.
Nobody's asking for a Gremlin.
SHAME ON ALL OF YOU
"I would want an actual magikat hat but would never wear it because I would look silly..."
I sometimes wear an elephant bed-time cap intended for 7 year-olds. Didn't fit at first, so I had to take out most of the cotton filling ^^
Also, a Chromalisk whose mouth opens and eyes and tongue pops out when you squeeze it would be pretty fun. SK's alternative to a stress ball!
If you ever have convention presence (E3, Comic-Con, PAX, etc), inflatable Khorovods, Dread Venom Strikers, and Alchemer guns would be awesome giveaways (or freebies with purchase of real merch?).
Dead Space 2 had this promo during Comic-Con and it was very popular. Here's the cutter gun:

And they also did Dragon Age II swords, but the one from PAX '09 was better:

As for real merch, plushies or keychains of enemies would go over well, such as gun/love puppies, gremlin menders, or Lichen/Colonies in various sizes. Girls may like real heart pendants as necklaces or other dangly jewelry..
I would love to have a Wolver sweatshirt, complete with ears on the hood, and maybe longer sleeves with a hole for the thumb. A big squishy snipe plush is a must, as well as T-shirts. Maybe a t-shirt with Cradle on it or... *idea!* A shirt with the imposter cube on it, and underneath the words "You jelly?"
If these were reasonably priced, I would certainly buy a shirt and/or plush. Possibly a key chain. You could even have some sort of promotion to get things started, like every $20 spent you get some CE.
Actually I would like a wolver coat, I need a new spring/fall coat and I've been recommended a long coat for a while now. Something a bit thick and resistant to the elements but 100% bad ass would be appreciated. >3

I collect nerdy mugs, so a mug with my knight on it would fit right into my collection.
First off, i think(For an extra incentive for players to buy the stuff)that making the stuff have little codes in them that gave you a random amount of CE might be great! even maybe fixed amounts! like, for example, one knight would give someone a bonus 200 CE or so. now, regarding Action figures, first off: The Scale. 6-inch and 3 3/4 inch figures seem to be the most common lately, personally I don't think a 3 3/4 inch scale would work very well due to the Character's styles, so 6-inch would probably work best. And posability, i think a waist joint wouldn't be neccessary(Although a swivel would be cool)but a swivel or balljoint neck would be a must, as would Ball-hinged elbows, knees, shoulders, and maybe hips(Swivels would probably work okay for those, but ball-joints would be ideal).
as for actual individual product ideas, i was thinking that the basic knight body would have the actual armor completely sculpted on the body(cause I don't think it could be removable due to the complicated nature of most)but I think removable helmets would work well! Also: weapon sets. i was thinking of sets of weapon families that were cheaper than the knights, for example, a sealed sword tree pack: It would include a Sealed Sword, an Avenger, a Faust, a Divine Avenger, and a Gran Faust. if the knights were priced at about maybe 15$(CAD at least)I was thinking these weapon packs could be about 10. There could also bbe a sort of "Deluxe Spiral Order gear set" It would include all the items that you can buy the recipes of from kozma(Blast bomb family, cobalt set family, Calibur family, Blaster family). Maybe it could cost about 50 or 60$ CAD?
And also the Monsters! Can't forget them! i was thinking some of the smaller ones(Like chromalisks and Kats)could come in two-packs, and maybe they could have one with a feature(Chromalisk walking, anyone?)and the other could be super-posable! Going off the chromalisk example, there could be one with a walking feature, a movable jaw, and a tongue accessory(For when the mouth's open)and the ther could be posable and also have the jaw-thing. For kats there could be a two-pack with one peaceful kat and one Offense Kat.
I'm done for now cause typing this much text bores me after a while, but I'll update with more ideas later :) .
