Today, I did a Roarmulus run and some t3 Arenas. Upon depleting my mist energy, I decided to have some fun and dress up in my proto costume with my DA and Polaris to see if people would give me free stuff. Surprisingly, I got a free calibur and two flourishes. Dark forces are at work.

Also, some t1 knights asked me how much did I buy my DA off of Quince for (the vendor at the rescue camp), some of them even invited me to go "go play" with them.
I said "No thanks" as I rode towards the sunset dressed in full proto armor and those t1 knights in the advanced training hall never saw me again until I started shouting "WTS Microwave" in the zone chat.
I hope that you're planning on passing your gains onto someone who actually needs them? I assume there were 3 knights who were kind enough to help what appears to be a newbie out, so...well, this is why we can't have nice things sometimes.
I was in my proto gear crafting a cobalt helm for my rescue camp character and was missing a blue shard. I go in front of the AH and ask for if anyone has one and this occurs.

In all I got 10 free blue shards, I offered to pay, but they ALL said take to them for free. I'm not going to pass up free stuff.
That Spiral Tailed Helm makes people feel generous or something. When I first started the game last summer, someone gave me cobalt armor with max fire UV. I didn't even ask, or mention I needed anything, he just gave it to me.
