A message from the guildmaster:

Welcome to Aenigma. The name "Aenigma" has a Latin/Greek etymology, Enigma which means mysterious riddle or unknown. Inspired by my guild in a different game, the letter "A" was added to make it cool because Tokajim said A=Awesome. I have met some great people there and we still keep in touch.

This guild was created in July by 2011 by Silversray. Starting from scratch when he got 5* gear, Silversray personally recruited good players one by one from the Clockworks and Lockdown. Over his travels, Silversray has managed to recruit members from all around the world. At any given time of day the sun is rising on some Aenigma member somewhere!

We currently have 64 members and counting. This thread is Silversray's ultimate vision for Aenigma. Now that he has reached a solid base of quality players he is opening the guild to anyone who is interested in joining. Most members of Aenigma are working adults or college students but we are always interested in meeting new people!

We do all kind of runs from normal bosses (Snarbolax, Jelly King, Twins, Vanaduke) to Shadow Lairs. With the release of missions we will no doubt frequent these as well. We play together, help each other, record videos and most of all enjoy the game. We are actively doing guild LD especially Saturday and Sunday.

Survival: Part II

January 11th, 2013

I was away for almost 10 months and promoted Hellohippo and Exerpa as a Guild Master to take over my place during my absence. I just came back last month and was amazed that our guild is still running strong for more than a year and keep increasing in number. I'd like to thanks you all in the guild for being loyal friends and "nakama" forever. I also appreciate your effort and every single thing that you have done to keep us alive. I'm glad that we don't fall apart like many others due to our quality recruitment and unwavering loyalty. Our bond is indeed strong and I foresee that we will survive to hit our second year in Spiral Knights. So, if you plan to look for a guild that lasts for many years, you are in a right place.

Note: Bear in mind that we don't send random invites just to make us active and have 100+ people within a week. We've been in Spiral Knights for almost two years and gotten only 121 quality members by the time of writing this. Our guild is certainly not like a hotel where the members just join and leave the next day.

Desired qualities:

» Mature - We expect you to be mature regardless of your age.
» Tier 2 or Tier 3
» Friendly - Comfortably communicating with others and getting along well with others.
» Respectful - Be considerate of what you type in guild chat and reply with proper manner.
» Not power-hungry - Never ask for promotion. Honestly, I really hate this one so don't.
» Not arrogant - Low profile and no need to show off of what you can do and what you have unless I personally ask you.
» Team player - Willing to work in a team setting. A guild that works together, stays together.
