Hey, don't laugh Runic Games uses it as their forum software and it works just fine.

These forums are not awesome nor are they nice.

Vbulletin would be the preferred but it's kind of gone downhill in the years and it's $$$.

Well

I, for one, think "simplistic and fast" is the best for forums, and that's what this is.

Until quotes get in, you can handle them with italics

Raul
And oh pray tell how do you

And oh pray tell how do you do these italics and bolding? It's listed nowhere and there are no buttons to hit.

cite issue

This text is cited.
This text is not cited.

Can't tell the difference? Well, it isn't a problem of the forums software at all, they just don't have a style associated with the cite tag in the CSS.

Edit: They should really add a rich text editor to the comment box, there are dozens of free JavaScripts that will do just that especially for the simple tags they support.

I'm not sure I've been on a forum with block / ignore options. Is that a real thing? Does that just hide the posts of a particular user? Its not like the forum has PMs, so I'm not sure how block / ignore could be any different.

Raul
It would hide the post so

It would hide the post so that you can't see it right away but you could still click to view it if you wanted. AT least that's how most work.

I think you guys are referring to WYSIWYG tools.
