So I kinda mentioned this early but here is my full thought on the bulletin board notification system. I imagine a a bulletin board in haven where you can access the following:

◊ Listings, just like listings you can find here on the forums for sales or misc. things. (steam games, items, ect.)
◊ Guild recruiting. Section for guilds to post recruitments and also a place for people to get in contact with their respective gms. Even cut lists for tryouts.
◊ Private listings, for guilds, about events and missions guilds may want to run. (fsc runs, times to meet, ect.)
◊ User events, and also of course OOO events ;D
◊ Other forum topics so you can access that all in game.
*more ideas will be added later along with ideas for what it could look like that I'm sketching up and making a mock-up model for people to get an idea of*

BUT, WAIT! Theres more.

Could there really be more =O?

I also imagine that this could be built into the spiral UI! I feel that it'd be a perfect addition to the RSS feed section for certain updates. For example

· Alerts for Guild Bulletin Updates and OOO events with collapsible sections of course.
· A little counter badge to show inside the RSS if you have a reply on a forum thread or any of your bulletin posts.
· Other alerts (still thinking of more, let me know if you come up with more :D)

I'll be desinging my mock ups to see what people think, let me know what you all think :D

One more thing, I think the bulletin board -should- be a object in the haven you can have an action on to activate because, even though it would be built into the ui, a solid object could have a more recognizable section, and be a great meeting place :D

Heathens.

As you might notice, I commented on one of your posts that look similar to--oh wait, they're the exact same thing.

Might be a good idea to stick to one post; double posting is frowned upon here.

Happy suggesting!
