In fact, this doesn't seem like an auction at all... it seems like you are just waiting to get the B/O met, in which case why not just say that?

Nope, it's not an auction, people are free to offer whatever they'd like, I never said I was auctioning these off. The current offers are there to show others the most recent offer I've received and it gives a sense of the current demand for the items in question. I put it up so that I don't get flooded with more offers that are lower than the C/O because I obviously wouldn't sell it for less than someone's already offered me, no?

You'd be better off setting a minimum offer yourself. 10k is obviously insufficient, so putting it there will only confuse people.
