Fix stun status?

Hi,
Seriously stun is broken. It's rather useless, and it's pretty risky to apply on ennemies, since they can attack you without any animation warning.
I remembered once someone used a stagger storm on vanaduke. It ended up in a massacre, the mace was destroying us, and we couldn't see the attack animation. So frustrating.
So what's the point with all weapons dealing stun? It's not helpful, and it's dangerous to use.
I dunno If it was meant or if it's just a bug, but isn't it about time to fix this?

Fix it so animation matches up with damage, simply 1/4th all damage, or even disable both knights and monsters from attacking.
Just ideas,

+1. Using anything with stun on it is a death sentence... to yourself. I'd love this to be fixed so things like Vanaduke maces wouldn't hit twice in one animation or trigger damage before they even touch me, sometimes ending animations early, even.

It's been months with this (comes from release maybe?), amazing how devs are busy fixing stuff like this.

I mean, Stagger Storm and Suda need this. It would help the Iron-Slug a bit, too.

I need this.... i stunned Vana once with my Callahan... that... was painful.
He double attacked me, once before the mace hit, and a second time when the mace actually hit.
Like seriously, i would much appreciate it if OOO could just post here and acknowledge that Stun is broken.
Just tell us something... Anything... Is there any time we should expect this to be fixed?
Or are you just going to keep it that way?
I've been thinking of making a Stagger Storm... and it would really help if i knew when to expect it to be fixed if it's going to be fixed at all.
Stun if my favorite status... It just fits me... just please fix this, I don't enjoy hurting my team mates when i stun enemies >.<

I've been doing RJP for Quite some time & I think the Stun-Bug Should be Fixed...A little.
You see, Lumbers are really easy to Defeat(Unless they catch you Off-Guard) but what I noticed is that they can make Jellies into Deadly Piercing Rockets. How?
When the Lumber Slams on the Jelly, it has a Chance of Causing Stun. The Stun-Bug, as we all know, causes enemies to attack Preemptively, which causes the Jelly that the Lumber just sent to you to Attack you Immediately, catching you Off-Guard & possibly killing you.
In conclusion, I agree the Bug should be fixed on all Monsters but Lumber Victims. Makes them to an Actual Threat.

Anyone check the lichen and slimes again? I think they managed to un-fix itself during the cake event.

Stun does not affect Oilers, Toxigels, or Quicksilvers. I know. I have stagger....
AND... Stun only glitches the first and last attacks... so if the STAY stunned, they're fine to whale on...
also; Many, MANY monsters have stun resist, or outright immunity... The Stagger and Suda should get med and strong stun respectively... at 5* ofc

But seriously, I'd be so freaking happy if they made my Stagger Storm usable instead of the suicidal troll bomb that it is.

Yeah. It is funny though, to get stunned and make the knight attack twice.

Plus, there are some monsters who attack twice like Vana...Devilites and Lumbers.
And also,looks like some monsters have resistance to stun...no more than 4 secs they stay stun...

OOO...please...oh pretty please fix this.
My team mate had a Trojan's attention, and I was shooting it in the back with my Callahan.
I stunned him right when he was in the middle of his slash thingy and it hit my team mate early so he couldn't dodge....and he died ;_;

Stun really needs an overhaul. How does anyone "harmlessly subdue dangerous species" in four measly seconds?

Stun needs to be fixed. When something gets stunned in the middle of an attack animation, it "completes" its attack instantly, hitting you. That's the bug.
Stun also needs to be fixed as a status. Along with poison, it's one of the more "useless" statuses. Fire/shock/freeze bombs are popular because they're useful. Poison and stun aren't because they are not as useful. That needs to change. I'm not sure how exactly, but it is a fact they're not being used as much as they should be.

Bump necro. I have no idea why OOO haven't fixed this since the launch of the game. It should not be too hard to do?! Maybe make it start with a 2-second "idle" period like shock does and then slow motion for X seconds depending on strength.
Fixing this long-standing issue is now OVERWHELMINGLY important because I will not be using my newly-patched-stun-inflicting bombs before this is fixed. Especially as a bomber I don't enjoy being instahit by enemies who are stunned by my bomb. It should be the opposite - I should feel safer when I am using a stun-inflicting bomb/weapon of any kind!
By the way this issue is also present on players themselves when they get stunned. It's hard to do but I've noticed that when I'm in a "charging animation" attack it instantly completes when I get stunned after it's started (i.e. immediate release of brandish charge).
This NEEDS to be fixed. Please someone spend the ~60 minutes of coding time necessary to fix this rather than patching in useless accessories and promo armors. Also maybe this thread needs to be in bug reports?

Watch this video at 2:18 to see a manifestation of the stun problem. Vana's mace attack instantly completes when he gets UNstunned (at "stun/nonstun" status change)... and then completes again at its normal speed...? Needs fixing badly as a lot of the bombs now deal stun as mentioned above.

Nick has conform that he will fix it. Although it is a bit tricky. :)
