Level details: you'll see gremils, construct wolvers (maybe knights) all that stuff caught in webs
i will add more once i think of more stuff for this enemy

i'm just setting examples
(if i had photo shop these pictures wouldn't exist)

-You only have two behaviors listed for this new enemy, one being purely graphical and the other being extremely vague. You don't even have any details of what the differences will be across tiers. Oh, and crawling from the bottom of the platform? What, are they going to dig up from the ground in places that don't have catwalks, like Gloaming Wildwoods?
-You're suggesting new materials that wouldn't have any use unless recipes were changed.
-You're giving a basic picture of a black widow and saying 'make this the icon', without even thinking about what elevator icons mean. They're for differentiating monster types. Are they going to be an entirely new theme, or fall in line with the Beast theme?

If you're going to make suggestions, think them through first, no one wants to see meaningless threads cluttering up the place. Try contributing to other peoples' ideas first, or look at the more detailed suggestions for examples. All you're doing with these threads is giving people good examples of how not to make their suggestions.

You are just shock full of brilliant ideas, aren't you?
You have to at least write some info about how this monster is different from the other clockworkers. Right now, I'm seeing a beast that shoot status-inflicting projectiles, which sounds exactly like a chromalisk.
I think you should keep in mind that purely "creative" ideas (like new weapons, armour and enemies) are a dime a dozen, and direct some of that excess energy into more gameplay-oriented suggestions.

Ian will never allow this.

at least their not as terrifying as the spiders in rayman 2 the great escape

Now, are we going to have our concrete idea or not? And preferably something original, thank you very much?

Again, your link is irrelevant.
Rather than wasting your time in linking random, useless videos or pictures, I'd seriously prefer you thinking up well-thought, original ideas.
i.e. Stop. Wasting. Our. Time.

Can you just stop posting that please?
Your ineptitude at the English language is only amusing for so long. After that, you get annoying. Not to mention you post the same thing 50 times. You could at least find a new image. Surely you can at least use Google Images.
That aside, please post a much more concrete idea up before posting anything. Don't just say "hai guise shuld be spidrs in game?", with little details.
You don't say what the materials would be for, because no armor sets use them, you don't say if they cause statuses, you just say "Maybe", you barely even specify the family which they belong to.
The only thing you did specify was that they can climb walls and shoot webs.
Anyway, we already have Construct Spiders. They're called scuttlebots.

Squidward is considered a Octopuss yet he has 6 legs.

Spiral kngihts story happens on a paralel universe where spiders only have 4 legs.
I don't think spiders belong in the beast family, but I'll go with it anyways:
The crawling on walls idea doesn't work as there aren't always walls or edges for the spiders to crawl on/ up from. This leaves them with very little to distinguish themselves from other monsters...
So what if they could lay eggs? The eggs would hatch after a few seconds, releasing a few aggressive mini spiders. The egg layers would attack players that approached their eggs, but would otherwise just go about making more baby spiders.
Webbing: destructible terrain that slows users moving over it. Scattered about in areas where spiders are found. Egg layers are able to produce webs at T3, spitting globs of web at knights too far away to snack on.
Having spawning enemies in T1 would probably be a little much, so no egg laying for the big spiders there.

the point is that spiral knights(universe) is not the same as RL.
Anyone could clock that

Add stun to normal scuttlebots. Done.

No, they be beast, they have bite, web shoot, egg lay, dodge and poison bite. (INFLICTS POISON DERP)

Let's give spiders a decent shot.
They'll have to be differentiated from other foes in some critical way. Spider behavior includes:
*Running away and/or hiding when attacked (slow dodging)
*Lying in wait for enemies with a trap, i.e. a web
*Attacking by crawling on enemies and/or biting them
With these behaviors as a guideline, we can start tacking on the stats for this new enemy.
*Beast damage stats
*Some inflict poison (should all? not sure)
*Possibly camouflaged unless they're run-into.
*When approached or attacked, they will either bite or run away.
*If they cling to an enemy, the result will be roughly equivalent to a zombie latch-on.
*The equivalent of webs is freezing. So webs will have freezing effects.
Try this on for size.

I imagined these MC size, so crawl would be preeetty rare like with zombs. And, in the boss s stratum, you might see spiders webbing NPC knights. ( Refer to the spider queen boss thread for details)
@ALL Zombs = Zombies

"MC size, so crawl would be preeetty rare"
Crawl would be rare? What does that even mean? What's MC?

Here:
MC = Minecraft
I mean crawl by latch on.

Lol, This is SK, not many people here are going to know that MC is Minecraft. I love Minecraft, and had no idea what MC was until you pointed it out here.
@OP : Spiders may be a cool idea, but you are doing a bad job of explaining them. So I'm just going to leave.
Seriously?
Dude, adding images to your posts does nothing for you unless they're actually relevant to the game. Your pictures do as much for your post as me saying, "Elevator icons will look like spiders. Spiders are enemies, so you should attack them."
For the love of everyone's sanity, please think about what you're posting, and provide some details and solid reasons for adding this to the game.
-1 unless you can pull something decent together.
