The Gauntlets, 2* same dmg as a flourish but normal (iron gauntlets), 3* same dmg as a swift flourish (sturdy iron gauntlets), 4* same dmg as a grand flourish (fine iron gauntlets), 5* splits into 5 diff. Wpns with diff. Dmg and effects ; darkfire gauntlets does shadow dmg and good chance to inflicting major fire, eternal ice gauntlets does elemental dmg and good chance of inflicting major ice, barbarous gauntlets does piercing dmg and good chance of inflicting stun, mercurial gauntlets does elemental dmg and has good chance of inflicting major shock and the basic final iron gauntlets does normal and does not inflict a status effect. They all have the same attack speed as he flourish series. In addition to these attributes I think they should give a movement speed increase low (like the mercurial demo suit and helm) since they are a lightweight set of wpns.
***Note: The 4 that are named after shadow laird can only be obtained at sanctuary.
ATTACK PATTERN
They all have he same attack pattern. A basic right punch followed by a right hook then finishing with a more powerful left punch. This attack patter is like boxing since they are essentially metal gloves.
The Charge: Arms are held in a fighting stance when charging player shuffles rather then walking. The charge attack is a quick series of fast more powerful punches where the last punch had twice the normal chance of a status effect (doesn't do anything for final iron gauntlets). Same charge time as flourish.

*** since this is a 2 handed item you can't hold a shield with it. To counter-act this holding he shield button will make your character put up his/her wrists up in an X shape to form the shield (this will also put up the blue orb around your person like any other shield) the shield equipped will provide the stats and will be seen on players back
