Before you suggest a new weapon read here

Give me a day or so to finish but what i am starting right now is a catalog of existing end game weapons by type. I am hoping to use this to show what is needed in the game and what we already have. at first i'm going to just put in everything but i'm going to add links to wikis etc later
WORK IN PROGRESS comments appreciated

*Strength of self inflicted curse is not known. Since with no resistance curse time = 43sec it is assumed to be very strong.
**According to the Wiki FoV the self inflicted fire is slightly stronger than the fire inflicted on enemies which is why I appointed it the strength of very strong.
+Only on charge.

You may want to divide weapons by star rank and mechanics; for example, vaporizer and standard bombs are different, but do we need more standard or vaporizer mechanics? I can whip up an index of weapon lines, excluding the dead ends (done at 1* or 3*), with consistent upgrade paths. You are trying to organize them by damage type and clip size; I am not going to address how bombs have no categorization.
This is weapon mechanics, not damage.

I woudl suggest to just play with wiki pages then post a link here. More appeling visually and easier to handle.

Weapons mechanics are something I'll add in later. Right now it's a work in progress but yes mechanics will have to play a part because for my section where I'm going to link other suggestions alot of people are suggesting new mechanics cough**cough**Kentard**cough so I'll have to find where those fit.
Also I am only doing the end game right now because the smaller versions of these line work in generally the same way and usually do the same type of damage.
But thanks for the ideas!

I have no clue how to work with the wiki :( although when I get time I will be linking things there. I just wanted everything to be in one place.

Only a real bomber can answer that.
For Wiki pages, use "http://wiki.spiralknights.com/{item_name_with_these_underscores_between_words}" as the URL with proper capitalization; "Ash of Agni" is "Ash_of_Agni".
Recoloring an existing weapon and changing its damage is far simpler than picking up the tent and running off with new mechanics.
Categorization is fairly self explanatory. I intentionally left out the Seerus weapons, Fang of Vog, and dead end (1*) lines.

just a tip for re-edit here...fang of vog isn't really fast at all. I know it may seem like it because it's shaped like a striker, but truth is it's a medium speed weapon. In fact when I use it...it seems to be even slower than my glacius, but that might just be me. Also you could probably add the Antigua under the piercing 6 shot section.

I would classify it as standard due to its attack pattern, and you are right about the attack speed; it is slower, somewhat between standard and heavy, or similar to Spur. Yes, I have it, so I would know.
Mark six is making an index based on the highest star rank, mine is all lines which upgrade from 2*+ to 4/5*.

i like this idea to have an encyclopedia that shows the weapon types and their mechanics. when your done with the list, i hope you can post this as a wiki page.
