I'm all for variety, but the only current accessories this would affect would be pipes and dapper comboes.

If a lack of chin accessories
If a lack of chin accessories would be a problem, we could add various types of beards that would go in the chin slot. We could have goatees, mandarin beards, full beards, and so on. I'm not sure how good they would look on our knights, though.
Interesting. Would promote more customability for accessories but I can't think of many accessories that would go in the chin/lower face slot.
