Trojan Pushback Attack's Absurd Range

Greetings!
As the update released, they said that trojans will no longer spam their pushback attacks when in corners. Nice, thanks but it came with an another bug that makes trojans hit with their pushback attacks bout 1 blocks farther. When I saw that, I thought that was a lag glitch, but there wasnt any lag. That shocked and killed me for 3 times in FSC and its really annoying. Does anyone else noticed that?

I got hit by it twice yesterday and just thought I was being bad and not paying enough attention, lol. Glad to know it wasn't just me.

Oh crap! I thought it was me randomly being off my game last night too! Yeahhh... Thought I was safe, more than 1 square away. Nope, shock, drop the charge attack due to it, shield around, get shocked, charged, brought to 1 HP, shocked, sword to the face, dead.

>sitting ready to blitz trojan
>teammate walks where it would spawn
>VOG HONK IT DUDE
>trojan spawns off
>trojan pushbacks
>"meh im far enough"
>NOPE, SHOCKED AND ALL THAT
So yeah, fix iiit.

Its funny how things break when OOO touches them.
Add fancy badge to player inspect -> player inspect broken
Change trojan behaviour -> trojan pushback broken

Lmao yeah, I think it's pretty silly.
They should test these too in the preview server beforehand to avoid such situations.

One patch they fix wolvers jump out of level, next patch wolvers again jump out of level.

I don't see much of a problem with that though, they teleport after you shoot a gun. Pots would work too I believe.

Sucks when you don't have a gun for whatever reason, though. I remember killing one with my sword while it was in the skybox. Had giant crowns and heat that I couldn't pick up.

Yeah but there usually is a pot somewhere around... well, not usually.. but yeah. D:
And aww, that sounds pretty frustrating. I'd seriously send in a support ticket just for that.

I've had this exact thought.
Saw this trojan behavior on the test server. Hope it's just a bug that leaked over, and not some new thing... The range is rough to deal with.

On one hand, I think it's neat that the range actually reflects that little circle animation they have. On the other, it goes by so fast it hardly matters anyway.

It's true there is just a bit of an animation. But I think if this is going to be the new range, it would be very helpful if there was an attack radius to warn us. I mean, Slag Guards have massive radar now warning us of impending doom. If Trojans really can zap us from half a block away, a radius warning would be handy.
Go go hidden fixes. Just another thing I have to retrain myself to do, since OOO will never fix it/they "intended" to do it. Too bad old habits never die.
Same damn thing with zombies for me. Used to be able to bat them away mid leap, and when they did hit, it was just one lot of damage. Now it's two. That's still screwing me up, months after the fact.

I was playing on the test server and the Trojans acted the same way they used to, so I'm guessing its a bug to be fixed in the next patch.

Really? I just returned to FSC for a spin, and found the buff makes it a little bit more interesting... takes some careful positioning to stay in the same zone as a buffing trojan in d27 last room now.

Interesting? Just makes them take longer to fight because you have to wait for them to stop stomping :'<

This is a known bug and will be fixed in the next update. Thanks for your patience.

It's an mmo, this happens to all mmo type games, not just SK.

I love how Nick commented only on Trojan bug and skipped all other replyies with other bugs listed.

The knockback bug probably has something to do with the recent behavior change (you know, the whole not-holding-a-grudge-against-all-stone-blocks-that-stand-in-my-way thing). They probably messed around with some of the values while they were at it.

In the time it existed I kept forgetting about it. Killed me several times.

So good ooo is fixing at least bugs that they cause in updates since its almost impossible to have fixed old bugs... Better this than nothing.

It was absolutely necessary that they would fix this one. Well, that IS the case with older bugs.. but we got used to them sadly.

It's fine now, but I'd add some fancy lightnings or an aura around. It does look a bit off since it hits you without necessarily touching you.
