Ring and Cootie got talking, and I was there, so I decided to make this thread for a new accessory item. A... 'chest plate' if you will, so pretty much to give someone the look like they have breasts, mainly for females, sort of like what Kozma wears. It can come in all colors and such, but I'm not trying to be perverted or anything, so yeah. :P
Ummm... I don't know how to say this without sounding perverted...
Yes, we need enhanced features :(
Do eet for UV Feminity Maximum! ? OOO? *pouts*
Even Rule 34 wants to puke at the sight of the new RSS, which, for a "Fiend killer" that Nick said it was meant to be, sure sucks at killing Fiends.
And even then, I'm pretty sure they won't make the accessory you described.
I think it would be an excellent move :>
Vokster would probably want a pair, too...
I'm definently down with this enhancement bussiness. I don't know about you other guys out there, but I would certainly dig this new feature. :D
We need to add some other enhancements too like hair extensions and what not to get big bad vanabanana into a strangle hold, then steal his mace with the superiority of having maximum feminity. xD
To me I see this as a turning point in creating a world where women of all ages (young and old) can create a character that looks and feels exactly like them! Ladies should always come first! Then maybe later we could get some enhancements for the guys. Hmm I wonder what? But I'm not gonna go there. :D
PS: I'm pretty sure this would appeal to Cootie, since she owe so desires the sensuality of other female knights. ;)
Cheers,
Sorb
..really, Cootie?
I regrettably support this.
To anyone who may know me, this was not an entirely voluntary decision, so don't judge me. D:
+1
@Muchmuffin Of course I would! Such a fabulous idea!
I approve of this 150% Just imagine the happiness you'll be bringing to all these women/men's faces! (mostly men because...well...yeah. ._.) Annywayy...
+1
mm sexy xD
will make my skolver look sexy
and make it more feminine which will make rich guys give me max uv'ed stuff >:D
jk jk but it would be funny :)
and would be easier to see who's a guy and who's a girl. and I can have moobs :D
... what does a female knight look like, anyway? It's hard to know wether say "he" or "she" in a game where every player has a black face with LED-expression and armor that tells nothing about the gender... and no, "No girls in the internet" doesn't apply anymore. And even is it's going to be added, there are still people who want to wear cloaks and clothing where the boob-accessory doesn't fit. It may be too much for just solving this problem, but simply adding a gender-option or maybe alternate armors that have the same stats but look more feminine(so people can also choose between both) might do the job better... it would be way too impractical to implent, but at least girls would have the possiblity to actually look feminine with every armor and personal colour and stuff...
Uh... anyway, support. Knights should be able to look feminine if they wish to look like this.
Yeah and it's not vulgar or anything, we just wanna look cuter.
Just do not ever give it a silly pervy name like "Volcanic B****** Plate" or "Divine Vertical T***"
There are lots of ways to make it PG-13, even things like "Toasty Extra Protection" or "Fancy Chest Vents" wouldn't sound so bad unless someone got a very very wicked mind.
Now with every purchase for more than 10$ players will receive new front accessory "Breast of Almire"
@Asu Can't I just upgrade my Blackened Breast to that though? :< (got too close to campfire as a child...)
I'd totally drop 10$ on this! But think about it... when it comes to things like this, girls gotta show off a bit, dontcha agree?! So why not some size modifiers too; Size-A Breast Plate, Size-B Breast Plates, Size-C Breast Plates, Size-...I think you get the point! I mean, my Dragon Scale Mail is looking kinda flat, and I'd like to you know, spice it up a bit <3!
It feels like it shouldn't be an accessory, and should be one of those character modifiers, like eyes, though. Otherwise, +1 I suppose.
I just looked in the mirror ten seconds ago, with the thought of Breast's in SK had me looking all puppy dog faced with my tongue hanging out. Every SK player needs the chance to perform a lean and squeeze.
Look at Kozma, the yellow thing.

It's less perverted than some of you make it sound like.
Yeah, I would really love to have that accessory :(
If done well, it would be possible to make every single armor and costume in SK more girly :(
Especially as the only "girly" armor right now are the Angelic Line, Drake Scale Line and Spiral Culet...
id say thats more-less on the gender respectively appropriate side if anything
+1
though needs some way to keep male players from using it XD like only fits on the "Chest" accessory region, which is only open on possibly femenine looking armours. eg: emberbreak, spiral scale.
"though needs some way to keep male players from using it"
Noooooo no no no I'm a guy and I need this D:
.... I play better as a girl, or looking like a girl, don't judge me >.>
"There should be feminine accessories!", One said.
"Put breasts on it and tada.", The Other said.
Also Kozma is just re-skinned scale mail.
You really couldn't say this without sounding perverted because you're talking about a specific armor for a female's chest.
I would personally like a gender choice upon Knight creation.
What would happen to everyone who already HAS knights? We'd have to buy them from the merchant, just like the eyes, height mod, etc.?
Sure why not, new accessories are created with each promo.
Seems like it's a pretty good idea tbh. You have my support. ;)
Why is it so important that your character publicly appear feminine over a video game? That makes you sound like all you want to do is have your virtual character appeal to your (future) e-boyfriend.
And why must the distinction be on the chest? Can't something more creative be thought up, like along the lines of the already existing plumes and flowers?
"Why is it so important that your character publicly appear feminine over a video game? That makes you sound like all you want to do is have your virtual character appeal to your (future) e-boyfriend."
Well, ask the same question with other MMOs as an example. The answer is pretty obvious: Boys like to play as boys, girls like to play as girls. Not to mention that it can be pretty confusing if you don't know wether you deal with a guy or gal. In fact, there are tons of reasons to have gender distinction. And well, if girls want boobs on their characters, heck, if ANYONE wants boobs on their characters, then you just should give them the choice and leave them alone.
"And why must the distinction be on the chest? Can't something more creative be thought up, like along the lines of the already existing plumes and flowers?"
I am strangely insulted by the fact that people with plumes and flowers are automatically considered female by you in-game. It's all about style, why should these kind of accesorys indicate feminity?
Anyways, the distinction doesn't has to be on the chest, but if people want a distinction there, what's your problem then? Seems just as normal as a feather on the helmet...

Don't even want to talk anymore about this thread, thinking to many horrid jokes now.
Well i guess making a complete overhaul for genders is alot of work OOO wouldn't feel like doing, but maybe just more costumes and accessories aimed for females. The end.
Well, it's silly. There might be heckling from the gender equality posse either way, though. Why not go for it? The money used to get these sorts of accessories might be put to better use than if the money went to Sarkeesian's BS kickstarter anyway.
We just want cute accessories Thimol.
Also, chill out, Spiral Knights is just a game, there's no need to bring your political or ideological beliefs or whatever kickstarter campaign here.
Nobody cares about it and it's even totally off-topic.
- Not to mention that it can be pretty confusing if you don't know wether you deal with a guy or gal. In fact, there are tons of reasons to have gender distinction.
Reason 1: (the building of) e-lationships.
Reason 2: knowing the audience when a group of "mature" players decides it's worth talking about sex.
Reason 3: applying a special judgment when you discover that a person of previously-unknown gender is a Belieber.
I would not support those being valid reasons.
- I am strangely insulted by the fact that people with plumes and flowers are automatically considered female by you in-game.
That's a distinction made by the majority, not myself alone. Never have I heard someone argue against someone else implying that plumes or flowers look feminine - because almost everyone agrees, thanks to our society.
I personally applaud OOO's decision to make their characters largely genderless, because gender shouldn't be the first thing you look at in another person. I don't expect you to agree with me, since I'm speaking from a minority with morals that is disgusted by our fast-food- and sex-driven society.
@Alphappy
What you're saying is, because we want our characters to look a bit more girly, we have no morals and contribute to a sex-driven society?
Okay then...
Slippery slope.
There already are three distinctly female armor sets, and the rest can be chalked down to male or ambiguous. Having bosom modifications would need anywhere from a bit of tooling to complete flat out changing to work with existing armor sets (Jelly? Demo?). Perhaps an easier solution would be to have existing armors able to be changed to a different chirality, ergo, female Wolver Coat, female Plate Mail (shudder). It wouldn't be too much of a stretch to modify some proportions, much like how heights work with armor scaling.
I don't know if I should support this.... but having no female outfits is just not right.
so... +1 >.////.<
(i don't fancy this thou, but i know most girls want dem sexiness)

Uh, I know?
You totally misread my comment.
Or, more specifically, that part about the kickstarter and the posse was tongue-in-cheek.
But really, go for it.
The accessories I mean. I don't really have anything to lose anyway. I'm happy with my bara-bait knight.
Aww i support that 100% <3
It would be so adorable, and Kozma already has a kind of "Enhanced Chest Plate" on her ^^
Also think about the lulz when a boy opens a lockbox and pulls out what's basically armored lingerie xD
PS: A little devil tail accessory would be great too ^^
