I dont think this has ben done before, and Im too lazy to search it, but the Snarby cap and coat have it, why not the shield? I THOUGHT I was getting some shadow D when I got the Bristling Buckler and the upgrade recipes, until I went on the wiki. I DO NOT WANT TO WASTE 100K CR TRYING TO GET A SHADOW UV!!!

I think all the people who have gotten the snarby line have had some issue with this. OOO PLEASE PATCH!

If you want to use logic, Snarbolax, as a beast, resists elemental, not shadow or piercing.

Yes but the Shield has Piercing D and no Shadow D, BUT Snarby cap/coat has Shadow D.

Having only a pierce version forces you to either go for shadow defense with Crest of Almire/D.Skelly or stick to your sword damage buffs with no shadow defense. This is partly due to the game having no "universal win" item(s) as most skill/"pro" credibility comes from personal skill/intelligence/coordination. Having all 5* does not mean you are good at the game. Having 0* does not make you bad at the game. From personal observation the reason it seems to be equipment based is because the less skilled players tend to give up around 3* (at least one helmet, torso, shield, and a couple weapons) because enemies become too difficult for them and their limited abilities discourages progress. Sissies.

"Whine whine I want this I want that." Either work for your money or not have it.

No, not "all" users with the Snarbolax armor have issues with it. In fact, they have no reason to complain. Being a primary sword user in this game is easy. Do you see bombers complain they have no specialist shield? Swiftstrike benefits both guns and swords, but bombers get nothing. Bombers deserve their own shield. I know the topic has come up several times in the past but I am going to reattempt it after finding and/or linking threads for it. To the slow search function!

Have you ever noticed that the color of ones gear somewhat tells what type of Defense they got? THE SHIELDS ARE BLACK. BLACK=SHADOW

Does this have shadow defense?
Does this have normal defense?
Does this have shadow defense?
Does this have freeze defense?
Does this have shadow defense?
Does this have element defense?
Does this have fire defense?
Does this have pierce defense?

Your argument is invalid.

Wow, judging something based on it's color? That'll get you places.

Have you ever noticed that the color of one's gear does not at all tell what type of defense they get? No? In that case what about the SSB? It's yellow, yet it has normal and not piercing defense. Same goes for the scary skelly shield. The 2* skelly shield is also green. does that mean it should have elemental defense? Yay! now the skelly shield line goes from elemental to piercing to normal (red) to shadow defense! How about the twisted targe? it's more of a greenish brown. Does that mean it should protect from elemental and mud?

Wouldn't the spiral demo suit protect from piercing, the fused protect from elemental, the heavy protect from shadow, and then the volcanic protect only from normal?

Color does not equal defense.

Edit: Wow lugs, you posted fast.

You got the buckler itself and all the upgrade recipes and then still thought it would eventually lead to shadow defence until deciding to check the wiki? Don't the recipes themselves tell you what you'd be getting when you hover over them?
