EDIT: EoS is a guild. It doesn't cut you off from your friends by any means. If they like the company, you can hardly hate anyone for it if you consider yourself their friend.

The least violent one was orphaned when bandits burned down the old shack their family was living in, but he was forced to sleep outside in the desert night because his parents only cared about themselves and their other children who were more obedient. He became a traveler until he found a caravan and became their scout who would run ahead to see if anyone is waiting to ambush them. One evening he was returning to the caravan to report the path ahead as clear when he found they had been slaughtered by mutinous members who lived among them who stole everything they had and fled. He hunted down the thieves and broke all their limbs completely from their bodies then left them as torsos with heads to squirm through the night and boil to death the next day in the heat while scavengers picked their barely living bodies clean.

How child friendly does that sound?

The wondrous game of Spiral Knights is trying to get it's name out there(derp neugrunds), as well as attracting all sorts of players varying in age because they can't read the ToS, dang it! Some mature, others immature, depends on majority:minority ratio of said maturity. Anyways, Spiral Knights will continue to become popular and attract these very players regardless if you like it or not because that's how games work! Don't like it? Too bad, it happens to every great game that makes it to the big dogs, and hopefully we will get there too! Deal with it, I had a question like yours in an old thread of mine and I was answered with a de-summarized version of this paragraph! Love it, hate it, w/e you do with it, remember it.

so you haven't found a guild you like yet? I saw your thread in the guild recruitment and several guilds offered.

@Flowchart: Oh yeah, he joined Elegance. Logged off as soon as he joined, which can be understandable. But the next time he logs in he leaves. So... I can only imagine it was cause no one was on perhaps that second time. But that's cause everyone is active later in the day. He might have gotton to know us if he had stayed on longer when he first join, that's when a good majority of us were there. But no, he's a guild hopper, and hearing a bit about his past recently, Elegance will no longer give him a chance since he didn't give us one.

@Phantomhamachi: Take a step back from this situation, let your emotions cool down, and try to think of what YOU can do to improve the community rather than blaming everyone else. If you want to quit, there's no need for this thread; just quit.

I really like this game. Personally I think the community is just fine. The only players I have ever had problems with are the ones who beat me in t2 lockdown (because I tend to be a raging loser when I lose.) Anyway if you want to quit more power to you less future competition :)

You act as if these guilds are out to get you now. Excuse me if you misunderstood, but I was letting you in Elegance to help you. You gave up that oportunity and all I'm saying is we have no reason to let you join again. You left, and for what reason? It's only guesswork on my part as to why. If Elegance doesn't suit you, then so be it. But you were there less than 24 hours (and less than... what? 20 mins of that was actually spent even ONLINE) so tell me how you could possibly even to begin to know if we were right for you. THAT'S why I said you are a guild hopper. Why would I give you another chance here if you can't prove you can last long enough for it to be worthwhile?
