'cause I can pretty much tell you how much neutral and weak defence every enemy in the game has at this point. Using this information, we can also make very close approximations to true damage. The numbers can also be confirmed by attacking flying howlitzer heads. Question is, how useful is all that information on the wiki?

Vanaduke as 150 piercing, 180 normal defence, by the way. At that depth, wolvers would have 82 piercing, 164 normal. Whenever someone tells you Vanaduke is not weak to piercing, you are now in a position to correct them.

The mask has 150 normal defence, 200 piercing. I'm mostly writing this down so I have the information somewhere and I have far too many google docs spreadsheets going on already.

By the way, T3 Lockdown is probably at depth 25 for some reason.

One possibility is to expand the damage table on each weapon's page. But this seems like a lot of work, and hard to maintain when things change.

Another possibility is to expand the Damage article to include the general rules that you've discovered. That seems better.

Damage in LD

My expanded Polaris shots dealt 203 damage to the gunpuppy in T3 Lockdown.

T1 seems to be in depth 5 and T2 in 15 (based on damage to the puppy). Makes sense that T3 would be in 25.

If you stored every weapon's "true" damage somewhere on the wiki, and stored every monster's true defense as well, could we make a template that automatically calculates the damage?

To the original question: We should add it in someone in the infobox, or maybe just underneath/above the current damage table.

Currently there is no page called "defense", you could create it and place your findings on how defense is calculated there?
