Caused by: A surfeit of the fifth humour, Free Time.
Cures: Get a hobby/get outside more/get a job/get a life/get Swiftcover etc.
Better cure: stop getting distracted and do your %$@#ing homework already.
When I see people in-game recognizing me from the forums is how I know I post too much lol.
It also allows me to buy more stuff so I won't be bored online.
Yes it's a vicious cycle, I never have money to go out since I buy CE and ele passes, but I am not bored online because I have CE and ele passes.
It got even worse now. :/

Actually posts tend to come in waves for some people, including me. I'll go and reply in the general to something of interest, then usually go down the list visiting each subforum.
