All guilds will be welcome to participate in BRICK BASH 2013, Starting on June 1st and possibly spilling over into June 2nd! The tournament brackets and results will be posted HERE on the SK forums. Do not flood Recotah with a bunch of random PMs during the tournament. Each team will be required to give Recotah at least TWO online and available contact representatives from each guild so I can coordinate with people and officially start the matches. Recotah will NOT be a participant, however I will be spectating all of the OFFICIAL matches. There will be prizes for the tournament winner as well as the runner-up guild, assuming we have at least 4 guilds enlisted. There will NOT be a third place prize. 100% of your entry fee will go into the prize pool and Brick Squad will not be profiting from this tournament (unless, of course, my guild somehow manages to win). In addition, instead of the 50k entry fee, Brick Squad will be spending a considerably larger amount of money on prize support than the other guilds.

Guild Entry Fee: 50k Crowns on or before May 31st, 2013
Tournament Type: Double Elimination, single-match-victory, random maps.
Meetup Place: All Guilds entering the competitions will be welcome to meet up in the Brick Squad guild hall. From there we can route guilds to their appropriate matches. However, sitting in our guild hall will not be required as long as each guild's representatives are in direct contact with me.

Q. What is BRICK BASH?
A. BRICK BASH is a guild vs guild T2 Lockdown tournament hosted by Brick Squad.

Q. How does my guild enter?
A. All guilds will donate 50k as an entry fee for their entire guild to me, Recotah, in order to reserve their spot in the tournament on or before May 31st. After that point, entrance will be closed. There will be NO qualifiers and anyone can enter.

Q. How many players are on the field at once?
A. This is a standard 6v6 tournament. All matches will be held in accordance with normal GVG matches and on the regular Spiral Knights server.

Q. What if my team is in Europe and the other team is in the USA server?
A. Unfortunately, not to count EUROPE timezone guilds out, we will be holding all matches in the USA queue due to the larger player-base in the USA at the time of the tournament's start.

Q. About CE reviving: I noticed a lot of other tournaments are 5v5 and CE reviving disqualifies you. Will that be legal?
A. This will be a no-holds-barred tournament. If your guild wants to burn through 10k CE worth of reviving to win the tournament they are able to do so. Once again the tournament will be 6v6 double elimination, no different than standard T2 GVG matches. Why? Because in regular GVG that is how it works, so that is how we are going to run our tournament. SIMPLER is BETTER.

Q. Can people us hammers/any weapon they want/AT/UV's like ASI or CTR/etc.?
A. There are no rules against what play-style you or your guild uses or loadout restrictins. You are free to spam, beat people down your whole team using, have ASI max flourishes, spam kilowatt pulsar, etc. ALL OF THESE THINGS ARE PART OF THE GAME MECHANICS, SO GET USED TO THEM. May the best strategy win!

Q. How will we know who wins? Will this information be published anywhere?
A. The tournament results will be published HERE, on the spiral knights forums, as well as the rankings during the tournament and the prizes for the winning guild(s). Recotah will be in contact via in-game PMs with the leadership of each guild involved in the tournament. If your representatives log off it is the responsibility of each guild to CONTACT me with what guild you are in so I know who you are and so that we can keep your guild involved in the tournament order. A failure to stay in contact with Recotah will result in a disqualification in the tournament. DO NOT send PMs to other BS representatives about the tournament. Only I will be dictating the procedure and working with each guild to ensure it is a smoothly run tournament.

Q. Can I stack my team with subs from other guilds?
A. YES, that is perfectly acceptable. BRICK SQUAD, however, has special rules against subbing in or out during the tournament. Anyone in BS caught doing it will be perma-banned from the guild.

Q. What if Recotah decides to steal all of our entry fees and runs away with them?
A. Doing such a thing would label me the DUMBEST GM in the history of SK. NO ONE would have respect for me or the guild I worked so tirelessly to build. Also, I am already rich enough. I doubt even having an extra million crowns would even add a notch to my savings. So therefore, I have no motive. Besides, I would become the most hated person in SK after pulling a stunt like that.

- Handing top prize to tournament winner, runner-up will receive a prize assuming at least 4 guilds have entered. NO third place prize.
- Prize POOL will be in crowns ONLY
- Prize will only be handed to a guild's GM representative. It is THAT person's responsibility to ensure the money is divvied between his/her guild once the prize is handed out.
- ALL prizes will be awarded in the Brick Squad Guild Hall, with representatives in attendance to verify the transaction via player-to-player trade.
- BRICK SQUAD can only profit from this tournament if we WIN. We are putting up a CONSIDERABLE amount of crowns to throw this party for the community.
- IF 10 guilds were to enter, for example, the total cash pool for prizes would be 500k crowns PLUS Brick Squad's contribution. If 20 guilds enter, it would be a million crowns plus our contribution.
