Brandish line often "misses" & attack animations repeat

I've been using a Blazebrand and an Acheron in place of my DA/Faust, and though I love the brandish line, they're a little buggy. There seems to be a chance that the swords go right through an enemy or object but nothing happens (even though I'm right in front of it). It happens most on the final swing, but I've noticed it on all of them.
It's annoying because instead of knocking the enemy back with my final swing, the sword does nothing and I get an axe to the face.
Also, this happens very rarely, but sometimes the attack animation will place twice. For example, I was using my DA and on the second swing, my knight spun around TWICE before swinging. It's happened a few times with my other swords too, where my knight will 'pull back' the sword twice before swinging. I think it has something to do with the "auto attack" where you hold click for the first swing, then let go for the second.

The problem is still present. The flourish line suffers from it too as it often misses the second hit because the first hit knocked back the target too much. I died a couple more times from this problem in much frustration again.

Nope. 4 bars as always.
Upgraded to Combuster and the same thing is happening, more noticeably with my Acheron, though.
Just to clarify, when I said "right in front of the enemy" I meant RIGHT in front of the enemy. I've made sure I'm actually colliding with the enemy before attacking so it's not out of range, and that's not the issue; the sword does go right through it and nothing happens.

I have these problems too, Tokinsom. Except I'm using the Calibur line (Ascended). "Missed" attacks seem to be happening more often lately. It can happen any time during a combo, though I agree that it happens most often on the final swing. My character gets right up in a monster's face (within range, facing it), swings, and the sword goes right through the enemy without doing anything. And then I get my face munched because the monster's attack wasn't interrupted like it should have been.
I've also had other anomalies, such as the occasional repeated attack animation, as well as increased instances where I'll be standing still and my character warps a slight distance. Usually a single tile distance, occasionally more. Fortunately, I haven't been warped onto some spikes while waiting for them to go down, but I fear it's only a matter of time.
Lagometer always shows 4 bars, with the rare drop to 3 for a second.
Still, at least it's not like guns. Guns have almost no sync to the server. All that gunfire you see on the client is mostly different from what's happening server-side. Sometimes you fire a shot with the gun, it hits its mark, and nothing happens. Maybe something similar is happening with swords. I don't know why some games have trouble syncing up weapon attacks properly. I have a couple of shooters I'm playing now that like to do "Ghost Shots", which is a shot that you fire that doesn't do damage or subtract from ammo because, according to the server, the shot was never actually fired. Such annoying stuff.
Happens with my Glacius a lot. Usually its the 2nd or 3rd swings, but every time it's the same thing. It is like there's nothing there to hit :/ My dread venom doesn't have this issue.

This could be attributable to server side lag. But I also think that some weapon knock back some mobs too much and the next hit just miss. I have to make sure I'm as close as possible to get all hits to land on some mobs.
It happens often on the calibur serie and avenger. It is VERY annoying. I hope it will get fixed.
