Sometimes I like to try and make up new costumes using the preview feature in AH, but I can't unless there's an item actually being auctioned. I think that there should be a copy of each item purely to preview. (This copy wouldn't be purchasable nor would it ever disappear).
A "copy" of every item in AH
1) It's too confusing and not everyone can download it
2) The wiki doesn't allow you to preview items together.
1.Everyone can download it.
2.Confusing? There's a big button called Armor. You click and find the armor you want. There's another big button called Helm. And so on...
Ah, but SpiralSpy is not an official Three Rings program. While it is not expressly forbidden by Three Rings in and of itself (though releasing spoilers found by way of the program can and will be punished), it is also not supported by Three Rings. What I believe the original poster is trying to say is that it would be nice for Three Rings to make an OFFICIAL way to view any possible permutation/combination of equipment sets, and I'm afraid I must agree with the original poster. The-Mighty-Potato, you have my support on this one.
It looked confusing.
'Nuff said.
Also as Neoretro kindly mentioned, it's not the official program. So OOO hasn't made it so everyone must use SpiralSpy in order to preview gear together.
(I never knew that it wasn't an official website; thanks Neo :D ).
Eh, SS isn't really all that confusing. You just have to know a bit of computer folders/directories.
If you do not understand them, I recommend you go as quickly as you can to the nearest college and take basic classes. These are basics and everyone who uses a computer should know them. If you don't know them you will have to pay 100$ for each time tech support has to come help you when you misplace a file. END OF LINE, er STORY.
I just tried downloading it, McAfee (my anti-virus protecter) detected a virus. Please don't tell me to disable my virus protector because im not going to do that JUST to download something with the potential of a virus. My idea on the other hand is much more simple and very possible.
security software (even google chrome's built in one) will flag any java *.jar file. It would probably do the same if you tried to download Minecraft.
Bechamel should have interactive things (crates in Bazaar, and Chairs in GH) that allow you to access all of the accesories and allow you to preview them. Seems alot more fitting then putting them in the AH......
+1
Or at least something of the sort. I like to preview my accessories before putting them on, but I can't if there aren't any in the AH. Bechamel should have a preview for both taking it off and putting it on.
