Monster spawns before friend/guildy joins = no drops for them
Apparently, you cannot invite your friends and guildies so they can share the tokens.

I just tested it again.
Can confirm; joined someone else and all I got was heat and crowns.

So you won't even get tokens now? The last sliver of teamwork this event used to offer is entirely gone and everyone should just go solo forever?

I like Spiral Knights for a lot of reasons, but running through dungeons hoping for a rare spawn with a rare drop is zero of them.
It's like every good thing about this game was an accident.
Are you sure the loot isn't just invisible? I had somebody join me and finished loading after a Kat died, and he was able to get the pages after some aimless wandering.
