Well, we have one for general friends, and the Royal Jelly Palace.
Time to have one for the Citadel. It's quite a pain looking for people at depth 24, or doing a Vanaduke run at all.
But you have to meet some requirements, eh?
What gear/weapons would you use for the Citadel?
What gear/weapons do you currently have? Can you meet the standard of not being one-hit-ko-ed by Slag Walkers?
What would be your strategy of taking down big-bad Vanaduke?
You don't have to answer them all, I just want to know that you won't be coming in proto gear. :D
Also, remember leave your IGN's (in game names).

I've been wanting to attempt
I've been wanting to attempt (read: carried through) vanaduke for a while now.
I'm in mostly 4* equips so i probably won't be much help but if you want my vana-cherry, then IGN is Reefer.
Send a friend invite and mention "forum" or "Vanaduke" so i'll know your not just some random.
Equips: Leviathan blade, Volcanic Plate Helm, Heavy Plate Mail, Heavy Plate Shield, Silversix.

Armor: Vog set, coat with Fire: Maximum!, Grey Owlite Shield
Weapons: CIV, Glacius with Fiends: Very High, Silversix with IAS: Low, Shivermist with CTR: Very High
I plan on upgrading the S6, and swapping out CIV for Levi once I get a IAS/CTR Calibur.
Strategy: Consistent damage dealer. Shielding the water guy as he approaches the mask. Keeping Vanaduke frozen.

I have really good aim with water so I like to keep the mask doused and put out fires/other people while I get in some slices.
Edit: Update! Thanks for this thread, I have found lots of fun people to run FSC with via friend requests. My gear has completely changed, I use Shadowsun gunslinging armor now and go with a gun loadout. Also if you need a bomber I have a shiver/nitro/armor kit and like to go that way sometimes too, especially if it's a really really fast group. :D

I have never done Vanaduke but would like to try. Therefore, I have no experience, no strategy. I have the Grey Feather set, Stone Tortoise, and Avenger and Silversix. If I know that Vanaduke is in my near future I'll definitely buy recipes for DA and AP. I have the cash but am currently using it to invest in Auction House swag.

Uhm, avoid getting hit is probably the best advice. don't really feel like writing a paragraph about it :p
I know quite a few tricks/strategy's for FSC if we need to use them.

[Edit: adding my alt char, and new gear.]
IGN: Thorl [OR] Whorl -- feel free to add both. Both cleared and geared for FSC.
Gear: Five star armor, mix of elemental/piercing def. Weapons mostly 4*, normal/elemental.
Slag Walker One-hit KO: It takes more than one hit.
Duke Strategy: Don't get hit, involves good timing for attacks, carefully cordoning off the slags, and keeping your shield up when there is even a remote chance of pain. Useful tactic for the mask phase seems to be to tag-team the water blobs, time it right and you can almost lock him into vulnerable mode (which is nice, since his mask isn't firing bullets while vulnerable).
Hit me up in game, I'm always down for the challenge.

I mix it up between swords and guns on the first and third forms, attempting to get him poisoned and then swapping to glacius/argent, but I cut that right out once his 5th form starts up. Also, I know not to kill all of the slag guards after his third form, so that way the team does not have trojans to contend with. I tend to have awful luck hitting with water orbs, but otherwise I tend to do alright at taking him down.

What would be your strategy of taking down big-bad Vanaduke?
Phase 1: Lock 1 or 2 slag walkers into wall then just go at vanaduke while avoiding hits. This phase isn't bad, it's just a bunch of hit and dodge.
Phase 2: Get water ready and hit the floating vana head. Try and have another person constantly getting water to cool off the head as soon as it heats up again. Other than that, when the head isn't on fire just use a normal attacking quick weapon to deal as much dmg as possible. Oh, and avoid the floating stuff, but this shouldn't be bad if the head is not on fire.
Phase 3: Switch to gun and avoid vanaduke's hits. Try and make vanaduke use his dash attack instead of his smashing into ground attack. By doing this, there will be a lot less debris and crap falling on top of you. Cool down the lava on the ground when you can and just keep hitting him with a gun. This and phase 5 are the most tedious.
Phase 4: Same as phase 2
Phase 5: Same as phase 3. If you didn't lock the slag walkers it will probably be much harder since the slag guards are dashing around all over the place.

Prefer a group with some that like using DA's since I like shooting with the Peacemaker. I do use my sword though, I don't just hide in the back shooting and running away if the monsters get too close. :3

Been around for 2 months, pretty heavily skilled in Tier 3. The gear i mostly carry are Grey owlite shield, Skolver helm & armor, Glacius, Acheron, Iron slug, & shivermist buster. I also carry dread skelly charms as my trinket set. Most of my runs are with guildies. I never have to waste over 20 energy(estimation) if the party isn't horse manure.

You're not ready at all for the FSC, why are you posting here? To be carried? Or to learn? Because man, you aren't ready for a buddy system at all for FSC.
I think people here are looking for players who have a lot of experience with Vanaduke, really. I get you may wanna learn, but nobody likes to carry people. Go do some runs with experienced players and get a better set of gear before you do, please. I made a mistake when I was a newbie to FSC to with Skolver then Volc Salamander, those aren't good for the FSC.
Heres what you should get:
Vog cub set
Divine Avenger or avenger for zombies
Leviathan for Vanaduke
Argent Peacemaker/Silversix
These are the best main weapons, but of course there is some more.

Some advice is fine too! And I have read several times that Skolver is totally fine for FSC as long as you're not getting hit. Apparently I made a mistake upgrading to that. :T I never asked to be carried, please don't assume that - I figured that making it to Duke in a group where only one other person had ever fought him before was fairly decent, gear aside.
Working on getting better stuff for FSC as we type this, too. Thanks for the input at least. :> I'll remove my post.

@ Addy: Good, good. Volc Salamander isn't good at all because it doesn't have as much fire resistance as Vog cub, so..
Also, if you do want to do some runs with ~pro's~, hit me up a friend invite and I can show you the tricks and all the turns of the FSC, and we can 2 man Vanaduke. (Don't worry, I can solo a difficult 4 Vanaduke.)
Also if you do send an invite, add a message telling me its you and you want help... I forget easily and might take the invite as some noob asking me to be their friend.

Armor: Vog Cub Cap has Elemental High, Vog Cub Coat has Elemental Medium, and a regular Grey Owlite Shield. (May switch to Barbarous Thorn if I feel I need offense more than defense from my shield slot.)
Weaponry: I haven't done much of FSC, so I don't know exactly what 2-4 to choose from what I've got, but: Final Flourish, Glacius, Divine Avenger, Hail Driver, Silversix (4*), Ascended Calibur (4*), Master Blast Bomb (4*), Freezing Atomizer (4*) and Acheron (Ahahaha, I can guess that doesn't have any place here).
I haven't run Vanaduke before, myself, but I have a very divide-and-conquer playstyle. Push any mobs away from each other, isolate them, and take them down without the other enemies interfering. I'm a defensive player, and I watch and wait for an opening so I don't take a return volley - I don't go in fists-a-swinging. Since I don't believe Vanaduke heals, it seems like this should be much more of an enjoyable boss for me than how Jelly King's designed. Mostly, I'm very willing to learn the ropes from someone more experienced.

I know the shield is not the best out there but I really like it :D Thinking of adding a shadow resist trinket and trying to use a Swiftstrike when I feel I'm ready for it.
Anyway, I have 21 Almirian Seals at the moment, in my experience having Vanaduke frozen in phase 3 and 5 makes the fight a walk in the park.

I've killed Vanaduke about 20 times now, but really enjoy taking out slags. I could kill slags all day. Add me and call me up if you are going to take him down.

All my bombs have a total CTR Max. For the Duke, I drop Shivermists to keep him from moving around too much, and poison occasionally. Makes for a much easier target.
