I personally think they look a bit like a bat/owl/human hybird.
Bat's head, humans body shape, wing arms from owls, talons from owls, and bat feet.
How do you think owlits looked like?
Owlite shields.
Candlestick keeps tend to have owlite illustrations along the walls.
@Annilaton
Waht? Which pic is the owlit?
Is this the one you are talking about? http://forums.spiralknights.com/sites/default/files/avatar_selection/sk_...
or this one? http://forums.spiralknights.com/sites/default/files/avatar_selection/sk_...
and how do we know it is an owlit? When/where did they confirm what you are talking about is an owlit?
I thought all we knew is that they had feathers and wore cloaks.
If you are talking about the Divine set it doesn't say the "divine sages" were owlits. They could have been almires or something else entirely! It also doesn't say those divine sages were even from cradle, it says "A heavenly hood of the style once worn by celestial sages," for the veil, not that these sages were not humans or from the planet that our knights are from.
It's right here XD: http://forums.spiralknights.com/sites/default/files/avatar_selection/sk_...
I assume it's the owlite.
That's a drawing that was submitted in an Art Contested hosted by a User named Shoebox a long time ago.
It's supposed to be a classy Snarbolax.
So you're saying Owlite = Mothman?
You didn't need to sleep tonight, right?
@Traevelliath
No *looks at you with a very concerned look*
How does my discription sound like the moth man?
The mothman has wings and arms, not arm wing hybrids that my idea of owlits have. I never said the eyes glows.
Let's take this the casual way. We see Grey Feather Mantle. Clearly Owlites have glowy eyes. What else can we see and collect info?

@Arcknightdelta
I'm ok with this.
There was a piece of fan art I saw once that pertains to this. I really liked it, if I find it I'll edit in a link.
Isn't that picture from the Owls of Gahoole or something? That is in fact a good portraying. SK may have based the owlites on that book series. Which came out first? I would imagine them, but their talons hold like wands or staffs or something.
That movie was confusing. But it was still pretty good.
The thing that erks me, though, is that the movie ends in a cliffhanger & the creators have no plans for a sequel.
Wait, I didn't watch the movie but I read ALL the books. I forgot the plot though. What cliffhanger?! TELL ME!

Should we confirm the owlites to look like that? Or does anyone propose a new theory?
I always figured the Owlites were humanoid dudes like the SK, except with large wings and gear and stuff that gave birth to the 'Owl appearance' myth.
Something sorta along the lines of this except more SK than human.
There were 15 books. I read them all in grade school XD Coryn was my favorite character :3
- Araliaggtwo :D
http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Owlite
I imagine Owlites with Owl head, furry hands and talons for feet.
I always thought that the Owlites looked sorta like the Heavy Statues... I mean, think about it. They look kinda like owls, right?
@Bitsbee: Yes Bits, there were books. *sigh* You should know that....
@Nechrome: Yeah, your picture, except more in SK humanoid format, and not with armor, but with robes, hoods and wands.
@Zenial: Spell it backwards and what do you GET? Nyroc! DUNDUNDUN
@Sirius-Voltbreaker: Like a anthro avian furry thingey?
@Samthesamurai: THEY DO NOT LOOK LIKE HEAVY STATUES GAHHHHH
Coryn sounds better than Nyroc xD Oh, and I liked the spin-off series about the wolves. That one was quite interesting. Faolan :D
If Owlites had to look like a specific type/species of own, what do you think they'd look like? Barn owls are just too not the iconic owl look to be used.
- Araliaggtwo :3
Kludd is metal beak, you silly writers! And St. Aggies was the first villain, not the pure ones!
They even fudged the name... Guardians of Ga'Hoole sounds much more majestic.
*sigh* The name is Annilaton.
If they did, I don't know. I seriously wish SK would not cover their faces like regular knights with robes and hoods when Nick does decide to bring Owlites. I would think brown fur, for the most part. If there was any "Headmaster" or "academy leader", it would have some kind of different fur color or pattern.
As for me, I need to gather more info on the Owlites.
I fixed it seconds before you posted D: *fumes* I'm really bad at these things, lol xD
@Fangel: So true. As soon as I watched the movie I felt like flipping a table. You can't combine two bad guys! That's just terrible. I don't even remember if they put in the northern lands with ice in the movie, but that was my favorite land. If they make a second movie, I'll be expecting a lot. I don't want to be anticipointed again.
The thing is Zenial.
Gawd. It's ranting time.
People and directors that make movies that base off books are always not the same as the books. When have you seen a single movie that is literally exactly the same as the book? No! But I agree that that movie was indeed a putdown. In fact, all the movies based on books isn't better than the original book ITSELF. All the directors that make movies off the books just hope to get more popularity and money just because they based it off some kind of well known book. Of course the directors had to be like that. Because no one told them how to make the movies, it's because they are their own boss. They don't listen to anyone else.
The Guardians of Ga'Hoole director could totally do whatever he wanted, but I was just disappointed with it. It wasn't marginally decent to me, at all. Although is a franchise or book is really famous enough and has a big enough fan base, the movie will be pretty faithful to the book, I'd think.
But still, like the Harry Potter series. Had a lot of fans, but still......
Heck, they didn't even mention Beyond the Beyond to my knowledge. I think they could have created a series based off the books very nicely.
And the flecks, good lord the flecks aren't some powerful magic, they're magnets! Sheesh...
(If you can't tell, the movie disappointed me. Without linking it to the books it would be a great movie... But as it is it just disappoints me. :( )
Does an Owlite look more like the Man Bat????
Canine, seriously. You think a Owlite looks like Man-Bat? *sighs*
yes. But with with a prismatic halo on his head.
and if they dont look like that, then my second guess is Cosmic Owl http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nkm7X2zL-ho
Waffle, your description is gonna give me nightmares. There is a profile forum pic that is a owlite!
A owlite is a owl humanoid, but more on the angel side. Just imagine a angel with owl wings, owl head, owl wings, but regular furry hand, claws and talons, in magician clothes, like a man's suit, but holding a staff or a wand.
