Me and one of the old LD players Feller wanted to build a new thread for (un)OFFICIAL Records. Rules are simple and prizes tasty.
Video proof, with a text at the beggining of the video "This goes for you Pony God".
The video MUST be on good quality.
You must show AT off on options and the toggle off like in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=He4wJGDiqpY
No ce rez allowed.
No arranged matches.
Me and FellAAr will review the video to see if it was an arranged match.
This way people will have an Official Record thread without Photoshop, arranged matchs and etc etc...

TIER 3

Striker Damage

Post a video over 25k and you will get 60k cr - Bing Bong
30k -> 120k cr - Darkcub
35k -> 300k cr - Feller
40k -> 1m 200k cr
50k -> 3m 600k cr

If a player breaks your record, must be by 3500+ dmg or 3+ defends to get the prize. If you don't break a record you can still post your video if it is in the top 10.

Example: Ezho get 30k , we pay 100k to him. RedblAAdes get 34k, we pay 100k again
Example2: Ezho get 30k, we pay 100k to him. RedblAAdes get 33k, we don't pay him.

Recon Damage:

20k -> 48k cr - Bing Bong
25k -> 120k cr - Blueflood
30k -> 300k cr
35k -> 1m 200k cr

Guardian Damage:

25k -> 60k cr - Bing Bong
30k -> 120k cr
35k -> 300k cr
40k -> 1m 200k cr

Swords Damage (Striker,Guardian or Recon)

30k -> 60k cr - Contri
35k -> 120k cr
40k -> 300k cr
45k -> 1m 200k cr

Gunner Damage (Striker, Guardian or Recon)

20k -> 60k cr - Dutch
25k -> 120k cr
30k -> 600k cr
35k -> 1m 200k cr

Bomber Damage (Striker, Recon or Guardian)

15k -> 120k cr

Kills

Kill as many players as you can in 1 life without going to the base and/or using healthpads.
You can heal with the hearts that you find on the floor.
You MUST kill someone to get a kill, I don't care if someone steals your kill or if the player leaves.
If you go to the base it's like if you die, even if you don't heal.

There are some silly things about this:
This is not official.
Requiring good quality means a lot of people can't participate due to bad PCs.
Nvidia Shadowplay does not support Spiral Knights as Shadowplay only works with games running on DirectX 9 or higher. SK runs on OpenGL.

With good quality we mean normal quality, not videos like Bulby's video vs Feller. We want a video, not 123456 screenshots.

And yes, it's not official, but we want to make it "semi-official" to make all the good LD players have fun trying to beat the records.

Feller does have a point; video isn't awfully easy to fake as opposed to pictures, although it can be done. Even if your verification methods are more complicated, it doesn't mean you represent Three Rings no matter.

btw, i think the gunner 20K isn't TOO hard.
Questions:
What about if you go gunner and bring a flourish?
Do you have to be full gunner?
Why not hammer in T1?
If not in T1 why not in T2? It is as mean in T2 too.
What if you change classes/gunner/swordie during the match?
What about BOMBING?
But who knows? maybe i will be able to do 25K :)

Do you have to be full gunner? Yes.
Why not hammer in T1? Hammer is too OP in T1.
If not in T1 why not in T2? It is as mean in T2 too. Hammer isn't very OP in T2 or T3.
What if you change classes/gunner/swordie during the match? If you use a sword during the match we will take your damage as a normal striker damage.
What about BOMBING? Hm... We forgot bombers... We will add something for bombers later.

Hey OP, I have a scenario for

Hey OP, I have a scenario for you.

Say someone uploads a well edited video where they in reality do 23k dmg with a typical dmg lpadout. However, in the actual video, they have 51, 469
at the end score board. If they had convincing gameplay (relativwly skillfull and good weapons), how would you be able to tell?

I am quite certain edited photos and videos can be merged, and since the scoreboard is static at the end of the match, I doubt it would be too hard to make the pasted value over the actual value last for however long it does.

I guess in this case you would have to account for every hit they make and add up a rough sum.

But anyways, ill see if i can possibly create an example of what I am talking about since I cant explain for crap.

Also, how long will this go for?

They can count hits and calculate the highest and lowest score the player would have been able to get.

Seeing you don't see the UVs on the enemy team.

Only downside is that the non pc nerds may have trouble setting it up for the first time.

Besides that, it's really good. Most twitch tv people use it.
