I have asked for this for quite some time now and I am getting impatient. Our Guild Master for Lone Wolves United, Red-Wolfthree, has been inactive for a full year on New Year's Day. I was Co-Guild Master with Red-Wolfthree for some time until an accidental self ejection while trying to invite someone into my guild (Absolutely no reason the buttons should be next to each other!). I want him to be removed as it is very unlikely he will ever return, and my appointment as Guild Master as I have ran our guild in his place since his departure. Please PLEASE one of the Admins help me out here.
Dead Guild Master
I really hope you are not doing this for your own gain. But...one year is a long time.
I promise I am not, Red-Wolfthree was a very good friend, but he let us down big time with his leaving. Someone needs to lead our Guild effectively. I have quadrupled the crown total in our treasury and greatly increased the size and beauty of our guild hall since he abandoned us. Everyone in our guild accepts me as leader, but I want that to be official now.
I know someone who was in a similar situation, support wouldn't do anything about it.
Hopefully they change their minds.
If you outrank him (were promoted to GM before him), then you can demote/remove him.
If he outranks you, then you can do nothing to him. In my experience, Three Rings will also do nothing to him. In particular, if he owns the guild, then Three Rings will not take the guild away from him. There is no stated rule about "if you're away for this much time, then you forfeit your possessions".
Maybe he/she is busy and forgot to tell you that he can not come back.
Dead, you say?
Just provide a copy of that guild master's death certificate and his will if you can find one. It was originally his guild right? How would you feel if I took all of your stuff when you croak?
If he's the founder, he should not have to be ejected due to inactivity.
