Read below to find out how you can join a free SL run!
(Unless otherwise noted, every run will be on Friday at midnight EST)

Qualifications:
4* gear at least please! At this moment we have plenty of sparks to keep you alive and healthy. We just want to make sure you have half decent damage output to help contribute to the run.

How to enter:
Simply post in this thread with why you would like to go! Anything from "I need the 5* material", "I just want to check them out", or even "I'm bored!" whatev :) Only neutral or positive reasons accepted, as there are plenty of gripe threads available and we need to change that! As long as you post here you're in the mix for the next run. The chosen party list will be posted at the top of this thread immediately after the previous run. I'll be assigning a number to everyone then just run the RNG at random.org (though it's in my discretion to reserve a spot for someone if need be).
*Please let me know if you change your name! Either in game or on this thread is fine. I don't want you to miss your opportunity!

Other stuff:
Anything donated to this run (CE, Sparks, etc.) will be automatically put back in to the run. Ex - feel like paying 1/4 the key cost? That's 450 CE that will be put towards sparks or future keys. Also I'll be running with my mic and headset on if you're up for chatting (using Steam) Odds are the run may appear on this thread so don't be camera shy :).

Dear Blueflood,

As much as I would like to join you lot, I am saving my 450 units of energy for an Ice Queen run. I personally have only done two shadow lair runs as well, neither of them against the Snarby. Also I will most likely be arriving home too late to participate. But I wish all that enter into the event the best of experiences here. Have fun. And thanks for opening up the opportunity for other players to join in on the experience. n_n

PS: If I read between these lines properly, Blueflood asks for at least four star gear users to participate with the requisite gear because of the anticipated difficulty of this excursion. And any gear that places dangers beyond the knight's capabilities to handle may sully the experience of either that individual player or the overall party. But do not mind me. I am just stating the obvious.

Howdy there Blue! It's good to see other people looking for Shadow Lair runs, because I know for certain I'm far too lazy to look for them myself. I would love to tag along for the ride for the fact that Shadow Lairs are fun, and I could use a bit of brushing up on my skill. I already have the Snarby set, but I love a challenge and the last time I ran a SL was a long time ago. Would love to take part in this just for the experience and the chance to both test and forge some of my new gear I've gotten since Apocrea. The only thing I have to ask is... does it have to be midnight EST? I have things to do saturday morning :(

I'd love to tag along, especially for an ice queen or red roarmulus twins run (haven't done those yet). Midnight on Fridays may or may not be exactly great on my own schedule, but it doesn't quite mean I'm uninterested.

I'll be more than happy to listen in to any voice chatting that goes on. Whether or not I participate is what I feel up for (For whatever reason it is very rare for me to want to voice chat while playing Spiral Knights whereas I won't think twice about other games. I'm strange), but if you and others wish to chat on Steam I'd rather be in on conversation. :P

And I love this idea! We'll see what happens in practice as time goes on.

I'm sorry if the time is not convenient for some, but it's the only time I can dedicate an extended period of time to SK. It might change or not, but it's going to be standard for the time being. If you post here either way I'm entering you in! Just get back to me if you can't make it before the go date.

@Fangel no need to talk if you don't want to. I'll have mine on for sure. Several of the commentary runs I've done people just listen to me ramble :) it's cool.

I would like to go because I love shadow lairs. Although I can't often find a party, so I imagine this would be quite fun. I also have a mic/headset, so I would be up for chatting. Unfortunately I have NO piercing weapons, should that be undesirable information. I am a competent player that shouldn't have to be pulled through the run, and capable of reviving myself.

I have nothing to craft. So feel free to pull someone that needs the material or the crafting over me. I won't pout.

If you want to make the shadow lairs something more than just "destroy anything on first sight", I'll be down for that. Themed shadow lair runs would be super fun! (E.g. No brandish run, shard run, normal-only-weapons run, wolver pack run, anything that might be new and fun!)

I think going on any SL would be fun since they are a fun challenge compared to the "normal" PvE levels.

Usually people go for UFSC, for the Radiants, which I agree is worth the money, but since you are offering it for free it'd be a nice change to experience the other SLs just for fun and to make some new friends along the trip.

I may go on voice chat, but that depends on how I'm feeling. :P

Alike to a few others on here, I also have a few items that are needed to be crafted (already have the materials). So, i'm more in for the funa.

Sounds like I found something interesting in here... I'm not oftenly playing at midnight but I guess, There are some chances I could be free for any of those(At this houre I can't tell 100% if I can be here or not so if you end up picking me up, prepare yourself a backup).

Why would I want to come? For fun, I've always enjoyed doing some SLs runs . Even if I've done each at least.. 5-6-7 times?(I don't remember very well.) Asks me for a free one, and you're sure that I'm in.
For the steam voice chat, forget it in my case for the simple reason that my account isn't a steam version.
Don't worry about my equipment/capacities, I don't make any promises due to the late hour but I can deal with kind of everything as long as there is no Shivermist Buster around.

Another free Snarby SL opportunity? Someone must love me.

Ooh, this looks fun, especially after I somehow found my way into a Rabid Snarby run with three randoms. Sometimes, it pays to explore beyond your friend and guild lists.

I'd love to come. I just ran Rabid Snarbs on Sunday, and I'm certainly up to do it again. Plus, two free Snarby SLs in a week would be a record for me.
Anyways, reason? SLs are fun, and the Radiant drought is a thing.

I'll probably be on voice chat, since I'm always looking for someone to chat with.

As a bomber and general hipster, I'm especially interested if we decide to use Fangel's suggestion to have a themed run. It'll make for a really interesting experience.

May I join in the fun! I haven't had a SL run in ages! >_< I just can't find anyone to go with me or pay 30k for runs other then UFSC. I will even willing to pay 1/4th the key ^^.

No worries I have beaten all the SLs and outfitting a maxed level snarby set :3. No asking for SoL from me though I barely have 20 T>T. I wish they just dropped more often at FSC...... Anyway can I come pleeeeeassse~~~~~~<3

No worries about the difficult my first time was in skolver xD once you figure out the layout and practiced FSC to the point of solo runs its actually a cake walk if you know what to do. and I even go with inexperience players to show them the go around for fun ^^.

Edit: Funny, I was thinking of the same thing blue here came up with but I was going to possible charge for 10k to 30k cr fees to minimize the lost energy costs in the keys so i can get the money back up and do another run pronto. should have thought of those donations.... clever.

I would love to join in these festivities. I want to see how it is. I haven't done a show lair at all. The closet I have come to one is the Grinclin assault.

And I would like join on this run but I feel that I would be a liability. My skills at best are average, maybe slightly above average. And my spark of life count is in the single digits range. And the matter of the voice chat, is that I would like to do that, but I don't have steam, unless you want to do it via Skype. That, and the time frame wouldn't be the best time for me. But hey, maybe one day, I will have enough time to join you guys.

Hey there, I would love to join you on some shadow lair runs. shadow lair FSC is my favorite :D I have full 5 star lvl 10 gear/weps. I run chaos set with positive fire and curse res and have dmg max with pet perk and barb shield. I'm pretty experienced and have plenty of sparks. Hope to see ya soon!

I'd love to toss my hat in the ring next time you run Rabid Snarbolax (as long as I get my hat back). I've done Ice Queen and Darkfire Vanaduck, but foul luck has struck the two previous times I tried Snarb - my computer crashed while loading into the Sanctuary the first time, and an important party-mate had to leave the second run early - but hopefully third time's the charm. I'm happy to donate the Nightmare Mane that would drop for me to the cause and can pay for all revives, as long as we don't die more than a couple-hundred times.

I can rock Skolver/Heavenly Iron mix with a BTB, Polaris, and a third something, either my trusty Sudaruska or a Shivermist.

I'd also be a bit interested in a Red Roarmulus run, but my elemental armor (Chaos set w/ Grey Owlite Shield) isn't quite leveled since the Radiant Fire Crystals dried up, and is pretty weak to fire and shock to boot.
