Hi all, I remember recently looking for damage numbers for certain unpopular weapons and well, I either couldn't find them at all or their damage values were only stratum-specific, with a bunch of ???'s for the rest of the numbers.
With the existence of Guild Training Halls, I propose this:
Create damage tables for just the GTH levels (3 columns, one for each tier, instead of 6 columns, one per stratum).
This allows people who own those weapons (at level 10) to quickly fill in the damage tables for each tier for the different monster families. If there's a formula that describes the damage increase/decrease per floor, then we can just apply the numbers there to generate the range (if we're still going to go with the 'damage range' idea).
It's far less time-taking than the previous method of actually traveling to specific tiers with specific monster types for the sole purpose of testing damage values. We might not get a completed range (ex: d19 vs d28), but this allows the damage tables to be 'filled in' so players can compare weapons to one another.

Now:
Is there a formula for damage growth per floor? Is it different per tier or is the damage % increase all the same?
No, we don't know the formula. This has been a topic of extensive study over multiple years. Zeddy's crew has come closest, but they have only about 1/2 of the damage calculation worked out. See the wiki page "Defense".
Yes, collecting damage numbers from guild training halls is a good idea. We have already done it. Search this forum for something like "let's use training halls to collect damage numbers". That thread was the basis for writing the wiki article "Defense".
It's fine with me if you want to add guild training hall damage numbers to the weapon damage tables. But it is extremely premature to remove the numbers that are already there.
